Hacienda Jacana - Nightjar Cottage

Slip into the serene setting of a private paradise discreetly nestled within 22 acres on the edge of a lush tropical rainforest at the centre of Trinidad. Enjoy your own comfortable wooden cottage with a porch overlooking a small lake. Fully contained, two air conditioned bedrooms, bathroom, living room, kitchen and dining area (as seen in photos). You can explore the grounds, birdwatch, relax by the poolside, read a book under the trees or canoe on the lake. Catering is available for guests. Hacienda Jacana is approximately 45 minutes from Piarco International Airport and 50 mins from the city of Port of Spain. Car Rentals are available at Piarco International Airport. Your privacy is respected. Very, very peaceful. We are not close to any public transportation. Transfers can be arranged to visit local points of interest. We can arrange tours for bird watching and other points of interest - please enquire. There is a minimum stay of 2 nights on long weekends. Two additional persons can be accommodated on cots - one in each bedroom - bringing the total number of guests to 6.
