This authentic beach house is ideal for a couple's or small families. The open floor plan layout allows guest to immerse themselves in the beach vibe with its incredible views of the ocean from all areas of the house. Casa Tranquila means relaxing house, you will enjoy the tranquility of the beautiful 2km long sandy beach with access to some of Nicaraguas unique pleasures such as surfing, fishing and kayaking. If you a looking for a relaxing taste of Nicaraguan paradise, look no further. One step off the front porch will land you on the soft sand of Playa Guasacate (Guasacate Beach) which is famous for its surfing, fishing, turtles and of course the beautiful sunsets every night without fail. Casa Tranquila allows guests to wake to the sounds of the pacific ocean, the beautiful song of the Zanate (local bird). The property provides indoor outdoor flow with two beautiful balconies at the front with hammocks to enjoy the ocean views and a private back deck and outdoor dinner and BBQ area. The property has been recently landscaped and planted. The purposely designed space highlights the simple rustic beach living typical on the southern Nicaraguan. Guests will have their own private cabin on the beach. At the moment there are two houses on the property so at times the other may be rented. On the property there are also a couple of outdoor areas such as tables and a gazebo/bbq that are shared spaces. I myself am always available by email, although all needs and wants of the guest can be taken care of by the property manager who is always on hand and never more than 5mins away. The fantastic location provides access to local hot springs, horse backing riding, fishing, boat trips, kayaking and of course some of the most incredible surf in Central America. Surf boards, kayaks and Motorbikes are available for rent upon request. The beach also hosts a wide range of amazing restaurants offering delicious local and foreign cuisine choices. Additionally to this there are also 2 small grocery store and fruit and vegetable trucks that goes by every day. Another amazing attraction in the area include the Chacocente National Reserve where turtles arrive in great numbers certain times of the year. Casa Tranquila is located in a small Village called Playa Guasacate. Which is approximately 2.5 hours from the Capital city of Managua by car. Airport pick up and drop off can be arranged for $80USD each way. Alternatively you can get to the beach using a combination of bus and taxi. Buses that leave Managua take you to Rivas then another bus will take you down to Las Salinas (a small town near Guasacate beach). Although cheaper ($20-30USD) this option is generally a lot less comfortable and can take up to 5 hours. Mosquitos are only in raining season from July to october, although with spray they aren't a problem. The rest of the year is dry season and mosquitos are not around at all. We provide of purify drinking water (20L) for an extra cost C$ 80 ($3USD), please do not bring any water bottles. Cleaning service is included every other day, Although if this service is required every day it can be arranged at additional charge. A security guard at night is also included free of charge every night. Emilio the property manager also can provide fresh fish every day and also does fishing tours if the mood strikes for just 80usd (can be split between up to 3 people).
