3 bedrooms, 1 has super-king four poster bed. 2 bedrooms can be made up as either twin or doubles, all with en-suite shower rooms, fans, Aircon, mosquito netting. Terrace stretching full length of the house, dining gazebo, panoramic ocean views. Wifi throughout. We have excellent cable, Amazon tv and Netflix and a large screen to watch and relax in the living room The house is on a hill overlooking the beach. The walk down to the water is 3 minutes but the hill is steep and coming back up is harder. We always rent a local jeep when we are on the island so that we can run into town for supplies and try the islands other beaches and restaurants while we are there. If you don’t plan on driving I would only recommend this house for those with strong legs! The terrace stretches the full length of the house and wraps around the dining gazebo, giving a beautiful panoramic view of Lower Bay. Perfect for relaxing in the day or watching the sun setting into the ocean at dusk. Our property manager will be on hand to help with queries and ensure you have a smooth stay and enjoy the island. She can organise collection from the airport and will be there to greet you at the house. A few minutes walk down to the sands of Lower Bay, Bequia is one of the finest swimming beaches in the eastern Caribbean. Along the beachfront are 3 beach bar/restaurants. This unspoiled island of charm and character has sunshine all year round and is even good to visit during the low season. Although not necessary, we recommend renting a jeep for ease of transport back up the hill to the house, or into Port Elizabeth to explore the shops, vegetable and fruit stalls and buy provisions, or explore other beaches, drop by Maranne's delicious ice-cream. Or just walk along the water's edge to the Port, take a cab, call a water taxi, or catch the local route taxi at the top of Lower Bay. Travel to Bequia: fly to Barbados and catch a connecting flight with SVG Airways direct. Or a LIAT flight to St Vincent and then the ferry across. Or fly via Port of Spain, Trinidad.
