This is our 3rd home we have offered with the Airbnb platform. We initially were offering a room in our home. We sold that home and travelled for the year 2017..stayed in some Airbnb's along the way. This home we are offering is 150 years old! We acquired the property just before the pandemic started. We spent many months renovating it back to some of its glory. Ever since travelling in Europe we love older styles and features and are drawn to that in a home. Please visit us! There is a nod to our Dutch heritage in the kitchen. Separate entrance with a fully stocked kitchen, spacious bathroom with stand up shower and beautiful livingroom and bedroom with a wonderful new queen bed. Lots of closet space for clothes and suitcases. A lovely leather sectional for lounging in front of the TV with Netflix or Prime. We are located close to downtown Brantford. You enter this space from the side blue door on the driveway. We have a keyless entry and will be given that code for the day of arrival. You enter in a sunroom/laundry room with views looking into the backyard. ( remember this is shared space so you may encounter the upstairs guest or maintenance people) The white door to your left will have a key for entry in it. This is your main level well appointed suite! We do not live at this property but we r very close by. We dont mind socializing with guests as much or as little as they wish. We know to respect your privacy. This is a community with universities and close proximity to Six Nations Reserve and the home of Alexander Graham Bell and Wayne Greyzky. The Sanderson Theatre has been providing entertainment for 100 years and is less than a km away! Uber is available in this city. We have a bus terminal 2 kms away and easy transit. Many people even enjoy biking on our trails. This is 150 year old house. We just finished renovating. It is a lovely mix of old and new in an eclectic style.
