Peaceful and private, the guesthouse / in-law is located in a safe, wooded neighborhood in the Hayward Hills centrally located to the entire San Francisco Bay Area. Private entrance with keypad entry as for sole use. Two nights minimum stay. Two guests maximum. Fast WiFi with Mesh WIFI (WIFI 6) . Washer / dryer inside unit. The kitchenette has 12-function cooker, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, water kettle and coffee maker. coffee, tea, etc. No stove, for simple cooking only. Covid-19: to protect you, your family, and ourselves, we have implemented additional sanitizing /disinfecting steps to our regular housekeeping by following CDC's guideline of Cleaning and Disinfection for households, using approved disinfectants. We use 70% isopropyl and / or bleach to disinfect surfaces, including door handles, TV controls, furniture, floor, bathroom, kitchen, etc. All the bedding is washed using hot / warm water. Blankets and pillows are sanitized using high heat of dryer. We maintain recommended social distancing. This inlaw unit has its own entrance and is attached to the main house. You will have use of the entire guest suite and adjoining outdoor area, (not the rest of the house). The space includes an open plan kitchenette living space and a separate bedroom and full bath. Access: there are 12 steps leading down to the unit entrance. Parking: Street parking is easily available in the front of the house. So feel free to park your car anywhere in the front of the house (but, please not beyond the garden walkway which marks the edge of our property) When requesting booking, please introduce yourself, let me know how many will be staying and the purpose of your stay. This will give me the opportunity to make your stay optimal. Some guests don't bother to read the terms / house rules carefully before booking. Please take the time to read through - it will minimize misunderstandings later. The property has a clean, quiet and natural feeling that we owners very much wish to maintain. To ensure this we expect: 1. No smoking of any kind anywhere on the property - inside and out. If you can't or don't wish to comply, you will be much happier choosing a smoker friendly property. 2. No pets. We love animals but, your pets will be happier at your home. 3. No parties or events. Parties and events while fun are not conducive to quiet. 4. Quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am weekdays and 10 pm to 9 am weekends. 5. No overnight guests who are not included in the advanced Airbnb booking are permitted. Hayward is centrally located in the Bay area, ideal for travelers, vacation, business and sports. This place is about 3 miles to Cal State East Bay, 2 miles to two Bart stations nearby, easy access to 580 and 880, and minutes walking to a bus stop, which is Line #95 of AC Transit. By Bus, it will take 10 - 15 minutes from the Bus Stop to Hayward Bart Station. It is about 20+ miles to San Jose /Silicon Valley and 20+ miles to San Francisco airport, and 10+ mile to Oracle Arena. Non- smoker only, no pets please, no parties or events Guests will access the whole space of the in-law with all amenities in the unit, other area of the main house is not included. Washer and dryer are inside, available for guests who stay one week or longer. This is self checking place after having the access code of the keypad lock. However always contact host if any questions arise. The place is on the right side of the house when you face it. The staircases is leading you to the entrance door. From the outside of the entrance door, there is a small deck with an outdoor umbrella for you to enjoy the sunset or the nature of the beautiful surroundings. I am a retired professional woman with a doctor degree. You are always able to reach me or my co-host by text / call or email if, there is anything to make your stay more comfortable. The Fairview district of Hayward often called "The Hayward Hills." It is a suburban community so it is generally very quiet and peaceful. From the unit, it is an easy stroll to Fairview's San Felipe Park and Sulfur Creek Nature Center for fresh air and a walk. Squirrel, deer and turkey are regulars at the property. Observant guests my spy an even wider range of friendly wildlife. It is about 3 miles to Cal State East Bay, 3 miles to two Bart stations nearby, Hayward Bart Station and Castro Valley Bart Station, easy access to 580 and 880, and minutes walking to a bus stop. There are a few stairs down leading to the guest suite entrance. In order to keep the front-door-lights on automatically the light switch should be on all the time. The light switch is inside the place next to the front door. While the tap water is of high quality, we've provided a gravity water filter pitcher (located inside the refrigerator). We change the filter monthly. Feel free to use if you wish.
