La Terraza Capulin is located on the central Pacific coast, 1 hour from San José airport and 30 minutes from Jaco. Casita Capulin is 5 minutes from the famous Tarcoles River and the Carara National Park: The Tarcoles River has the highest concentration of crocodiles in Costa Rica. It is possible to take a boat tour of the mangrove swamps and observe the crocodiles from (very) close! Thrills guaranteed! The Carara National Park is home to 420 different bird species and is the nest of the Red Parrots (Ara Macaws). It is one of the best places for bird watching in Costa Rica! Small shop and bus stop at 1000m. Various local restaurants 2-3km away. Nearest village: Tarcoles and Orotina (banks and supermarkets). Private and secure parking. The bus stop is 1 km away.
