Ridge View Villa is very well suited to couples wanting a relaxing holiday as well as families or small groups wanting space and comfort. We have hosted both couples on their honeymoon as well as small groups and families achieving 38 5 stars from our reviews. The villa boasts a modern fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. There is a coffee maker for those who wish to start the day with good coffee, sitting on the upper terrace enjoying the warm gentle Caribbean breeze. All beds in the villa have been renewed (February 2022) with the Master bedroom now boasting a Queen bed. The Master is spacious with an en suite having both bath and shower. The 2 double bedrooms have single beds that can be made into double. These comfortable spacious bedrooms with new beds will enhance your holiday experience. There is an upper and lower poolside terrace. Start your day with breakfast on the upper terrace with views of humming birds and butterflies. Then move to the poolside terrace to loungers with umbrellas, take a dip and enjoy Al fresco dining. (There is a barbecue available) The airy dining living space opens through bi-fold doors onto the upper terrace. This space boasts vaulted ceilings which captures the warm Caribbean breeze from the ridge which naturally cools this area. There is also a standing fan available for extra comfort if required. For guest use there is a telephone with free island wide calls. There is a large flat screen TV on the wall with access to free satellite TV channels. With YouTube available via the TV you also have the world of music at your fingertips. We have hosted a number of guests who have stayed for very long lets whilst working abroad. Two for a year each one returning for a second long stay and many more for four to eight weeks. We are therefore experienced in hosting guests who wish to work from abroad. Our reliable and fast wifi have facilitated this process. Finally our Villa Manager Mauva with over 10 years experience is on hand at all times should you have any queries. There is a handbook with general information and recommendations to help you plan and enjoy your stay in beautiful Barbados. All guests have access to the pool and pool area. There is a landscaped garden adjoining with tropical plants. To the front there is a large drive that can take a number of cars. We have an experienced villa manager who will be present to meet and greet you on you arrival. She can be contacted if you wish to seek her advice on anything to do with the island such as how to get around or the best places to eat or visit. She can also be contacted in an emergency to give advice and support. Ridge View Villa is situated in an amazing scenic setting. Enjoy from the terrace or poolside the open country which gives rise to beautiful views and wonderful starlit nights. An astronomers dream. On a Sunday marvel at the displays of the Barbados Model Plane Association who uses the skies in front of the villa. This tranquil gem is close to Bottom Bay. This beach epitomises a tropical paradise. Golden sand a rugged backdrop crowned by palm trees will remove all tension.Sit quietly with a book close your eyes and listen to the sea and let all your stresses drift away. Close to the villa are a number of other beaches for those who wish to explore. Maps are available in the villa. The Crane Hotel close by has 4 good restaurants. It also has a bar for evening drinks with live music. Barbados being a small exclusive island is spoilt for good eating out and entertainment venues. Please ask the Villa Manager for advice. A car is advised although there are close regular bus service which some guests have used. Please note only the bedrooms are air conditioned. The rest of the space is cooled by the gentle warm Caribbean breeze from the ridge as well as a standing fan for extra comfort if required. The villa is for the sole use of those on the booking.
