We offer a B & B/Farm vacation stay along with offering a custom Special Events venue. The Prairie Storm Room beckons you to cozy under the bedcovers and finish reading your favourite book. Located on the lower level of the home this bedroom offers a queen size bed for a comfy stay. When you stay at Farm Away you are welcome to explore and relax in our large garden spaces, barnyard, go on a nature hike and so much more. We are here to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We can show you around then leave you to relax or you can book some time with us to take a pasture tour or learn more about the livestock, crops and how your food is grown. Portage la Prairie offers many sights and amenities. Pop into one of our many locally operated cafes and restaurants, visit the Fort la Reine Museum or take a short drive north to Delta Beach situated on the southern tip of Lake Manitoba. We are located just outside of Portage la Prairie so you will need a vehicle to travel to the property and around the area. We offer a self catering kitchen for our guests who book the entire house or join us for extended stays. All the basics are here for you, coffee, tea, sugar, flour, basic spices and all kitchen accessories to cook/serve and eat your meals.
