Webster Waterfront Cottage Nestled in the Pines

Light, bright sunny home nestled in the pines on a quiet dead end road. It's the perfect spot to relax, go swimming, kayaking, fishing or just sit on the dock and relax. There is an outdoor shady patio area over-looking the lake with tables/chairs, a gas grill for BBQs and a gas firepit for s'mores. Open kitchen/dining/living room with room to spread out. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need pots/pans, tupper ware, garbage bags etc. AC in the 2 queen bedrooms, no AC in full bedroom. The house sits up high and faces west so you get amazing sunset views. There are about 25 steps leading down to the waterfront dock area. There is a sitting area at the waterfront with 6 chairs. The waterfront has a mostly sandy bottom with a very gradual drop off. June through September there is a 20 foot dock on the property to fish off of or to relax on. Guests are welcome to use our 2 person sit -on-top kayak or 2 person paddle boat. There is also a large driveway that can fit up to 4 cars. The entire house, yard, patio, and waterfront. There is no back "yard" per se as the lake is your backyard. The AC, dock, 2 person kayak and paddleboat are available seasonal (June- September). * The yard is sloped and there are stairs to the house, patio and waterfront. I am not located at the property but am nearby and can be reached by cell phone. The house is on a quiet dead end road filled with a mix of summer and year round homes. Its great for a leisurely walk or bike ride. Great location if your going to a concert at Indian Ranch- you can walk to it and avoid the parking/crowds. Just a few minutes to Douglas State Park or Purgatory Chasm for great nature trails. Webster lake has 3 restaurants, a gas station and a marina on it that rents kayaks and paddle boards. No public transportation. House is located about 2 miles from interstate 395. The house is located on a quiet street but it is within 1 mile of a grocery store, gas station, convenience store, Donut shop, Pizza shop, three restaurants and Indian Ranch Concert Venue. Centrally located for trips to Worcester, Providence or Boston. If your looking for a clean and comfortable home with awesome lake views this house is for you. If your looking for a modern house with granite countertops, stainless appliances and central air this is not the house for you. This is an older home so it comes with certain quirks or charm depending on how you look at it - creaky floors, chipping paint, small bedrooms with slanted ceilings, etc. NOTE: There is only one bathroom and its located on the first floor. The master bedroom has a shutter type door and the small bedroom has a shutter type window overlooking the staircase. This might be an issue if you have small children or are a light sleeper. The landscape of the yard is sloped and a little uneven in certain spots. There are a few stairs to the house & patio and MANY stairs to the waterfront which may not be suitable for people that require assistance with walking. * Guests are responsible for their own safety in the house, on the property and in the lake.l
