Neighborhood walks are complete with Berkeley Rose Garden, meandering trails throughout the hills, Tilden Park with vistas of the bay area at every turn. Close to Alice Waters' Chez Panisse restaurant, Cheese Board, organic markets, fabulous cafes, Berkeley Art Museum, and the not to be missed Pacific Film Archive . The studio apartment is private with gorgeous views of the garden and new zen garden from two walls of the unit. The North Berkeley Hills have endless features including neighborhood parks and off-street walking paths snaking through the neighborhoods, Berkeley Rose garden and the Maybeck recital hall within walking distance The neighborhood is populated with professionals and UC professors (no student housing). 2 min walk to buses that run frequently to take you either to Campus, downtown or Tilden Park in 3-5 minutes. Only 1 airline standard carry-on bag and tote per person is allowed in the unit. I ask that people meet your friends off the property and do not allow additional guests or friends of guests onto the property simply because it is a private home. Excessive noise is grounds for termination of the stay.
