Even if you camp often, our concept is not even available nowhere else and should be also in a general physical good condition. The uniqueness of this place is that the backyard’s property is a FOREST 🌳 with a natural rock climbing wall for non climbers and climbers who want to stay camping with the convenience of having bathroom, parking, kitchen, BBQ area and a Mountain View. ⛰ You will sleep in a natural rock shelter as your room!. This is the way our natives used to sleep or make rituals too. The area is well known as an archeological site. Enjoy this ancestral getaway. WHATS INCLUDED? ⛺️ 🍽 🚽 The cost includes: a 2-person tent without stakes to move it at your convenience, full size air mattress, pillows, shared bathroom and kitchenette (small fridge, stove, utensils, coffee maker) and 1 parking spot. To get to the rock shelter you first need to know that the trail is short but rocky and steep, and also go up a 10ft ladder to reach your tent. Bring boots or good grip shoes. If you want to stay more than 1 night, it’s important that you know we need parking spots for other people coming during the day. It is very hard for us to find parking for other people if you leave your car the whole day in the spot for days. Our suggestion is to go and explore places around and come back in the afternoon for your next night. Obviously if you will be rock climbing that’s not a problem at all!! We can suggest really good places and you can also see our guidebook for that. Shared spaces and all camping gear is properly disinfected before each use. Suggestions 📝 1- If you want to make a campfire and you don’t know how to do it, we sell the logs at 10$ (last for 1.5 hrs). Let us know in advance to have it prepared for you. 2- Bring your towel / or we can provide it at no additional cost. 3- Since you need to hike for about 5-6 minutes to get there you need: boots or similar good grip shoes and it will be easier if you get here before sunset. 4- Bring in a backpack only items you will use at the cave such as water, food, phone, headlamps or flashlight, etc. Bathroom items can be left in your car or in the shelves at the kitchen in a box or a closed bag to keep it organized. Bathroom is located close to the entrance at about 5-6 minutes from the cave. Plan accordingly when to get the shower etc. 5- You can also follow Leave No Trace Principles for an alternate way to dispose human wastes. (Dig a hole at least 25 feet away of any campsite or trail, of at least 6” depth then cover it). Its yours, keep it and bring it to the trash can. 2- If you have recyclable wastes such as Plastic 1 and 2, DO NOT put it in the trash can, let us know for a proper disposal. 3- If you have organic wastes such as food remains do not leave in the camping area or trail. You can either bury at 6 inches or more in the soil or put it somewhere invisible to others. 4- Do not harm plants or animals of any kind. 5- Do NOT flush toilet paper because it will get clogged in the pipes. You can be charged 25$ or more to fix this. Also keep the bathroom door locked after you’re done. 6- Do not use bar soap in the open shower, it gets stained. We provide of liquid soap for you. 7- If you plan to do a campfire also plan how you will turn it off. Carry additional water for this purpose and never fall asleep while a campfire is still burning. 8- If you are in the kitchenette area at 10pm or later remember to have noises at a minimum. 9- The main gate is never locked, however it should remain closed especially after 8pm. Please help us on that. 10- Check in and Check out time is strict. Please get here prepared and on time. 11- Before you leave make sure you didn’t leave anything in our property. In addition you will have access to a full bathroom. Your camping area will be exclusively for you and your companion. All these logistics definitely make a difference if you need to do it yourself, thats why we do it for you! You will only need to bring: a towel if you want or we can provide it, food and water. At this town there are no bike lanes, the safest way to get around would be to rent a car. You can also get Taxi Services. Very limited or none Uber cars around. We are passionate naturalists and we like that people embrace simplicity and the beauty of this place as much as we do. Please behave accordingly and come with the best attitude to enjoy it. We don’t allow smoking cigarettes in the property. You would have to go outside of the property. We dont allow to bring pets.
