YOUR CASTLE AWAITS! Chateau de Conde is located on the wine trail, in the heart of wine country, with an incredible view of Palomar Mountain. This French-inspired Chateau boasts 4600 total sq. ft. between the main house and the two additional private casitas. This exceptional home totals 8 bedrooms & 6 bathrooms sleeping up to 18 people comfortably, providing you and your guests with ample space to relax and unwind in this stunning home. The main home (the estate) welcomes your guests with its Grand Turret entry & open and very spacious floorplan. The single-story estate has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, four of which have an attached private bathroom. Spend time in the kitchen making some lifetime memories cooking in our large, fully stocked kitchen. Not feeling like cooking, don’t worry, hire a local chef to do that for you, we have great recommendations! We can’t think of a better way to spend your vacation than outside in our tropical resort-like backyard. Fire up the gas BBQ and bask in the sun as you and your guests enjoy going down the slide into our stunning pool. In the evening pop a bottle of wine and sit in our 10-person jacuzzi enjoying the gorgeous view of the Palomar mountain range. It truly doesn’t get better than this! After a long day of wine tasting at one of our over 50 wineries in the area, pamper yourself in the master suite complete a 2-person sauna, 2-person side jetted jacuzzi, and walk-in dual headed shower with side jets. The guest building offers additional sleeping and a bit more privacy for your additional guests in the group. Just exit the main house across a covered breezeway into the foyer of a separate 2 story guest building, to locate the additional two casitas. On the first level, you’ll find the entrance to the “romantic Retro Hollywood” themed Studio (1 Bed, 1 Bath) suite, about 300 sq. ft., with a stocked kitchenette & dining area, perfect for a couple. In the foyer, you’ll find the gently winding staircase to the large ‘vintage suite casita’ (1200+ sq. ft.) on the second level. This large and spacious upstairs casita is very private with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, another fully stocked kitchen opens to the family room, and a formal dining area. The Vintage Suite also has a laundry area & a deck off a second Turret, where you can enjoy the front yard fountain and views of the stunning property. The uniqueness of this estate gives guests a lot of options for lodging needs. This 2 1/2-acre estate is gated, plenty of parking, basketball 1/2 court, sand bed for bocce & volleyball & other misc. activities. (Not provided) About 7 min to town for shopping. Within 2-3 miles of most wineries, equestrian activities, hot air balloons & much more. Easy to Uber & shuttle. About 1 hour to airports, zoos, amusement parks and 40 min to beach. Barefoot Vacation Rentals has partnered with local wineries and restaurants in town. Once your reservation is confirmed, we will send you a link with digital discounts. Show your phone to the 15+ wineries, 10+ Restaurants and local activities such as hot air balloon rides or a personal wine tour and receive a discount. Pool heating is NOT available during the winter months of December-March. Pool heating is available March-November, please inquire for pricing per night. There is a 2 night minimum for pool heating. If heating the pool, a pool heating agreement must be signed. Price of the home includes up to 3 hours of heating the jacuzzi daily. If you are wanting additional time, there is an additional fee of $50 per hour. The firepit and fireplace at the home can not be used.
