It has a private bathroom with warm water, a kitchenette with small fridge, one queen sized bed with orthopedic mattress, big ceiling fan, luggage locker and private terrace. A lovely breakfast is included. Only 350 meters from the beach of Playa Junquillal. Mundo Milo is a small-scaled ecologically based lodge in the small community of Junquillal, Santa Cruz, Guanacaste, just 350 meters walking distance from the beach on the Pacific coast. The lodge where you can speak Dutch, English, Spanish and German with the owners, has a restaurant, bar, 5 accommodations and a swimming pool. Hospitality, personal attention, service and flexibility are our top priority. In the immediate surroundings of the lodge you can find breathtaking flora and fauna, including mangroves and deserted beaches where turtles regularly come ashore to lay their eggs. The accommodations of the lodge are independent units built in different world styles like an African cabina, two Persian and two Mexican cabinas. The cabins / accommodations are built amidst the trees near the pool, so the jungle feeling is combined with comfort and the howler monkeys are often close to the cabinas swinging in the trees. Mundo Milo offers a wide range of beautiful, interesting, exciting and relaxing activities such as horseback riding, canopy, kayaking in the mangroves in Junquillal itself, surfing, swimming with turtles, visits to national parks with active volcanoes and turtle watching at night on the beach of Junquillal. WiFi is available. Specialized in Vegetarian and Gluten / Lactose free menus Mundo Milo offers a wide range of beautiful, interesting, exciting and relaxing activities such as horseback riding, canopy, kayaking in the mangroves in Junquillal itself, surfing, swimming with turtles, visits to national parks with active volcanoes and turtle watching at night on the beach of Junquillal. (Website hidden by Airbnb) Costa Rica By public transport you can take a bus to Santa Cruz and there take another bus to us at Playa Junquillal. In Santa Cruz you go to the Alfaro bus station (there are 2 bus stations) which is about 1 km. apart from each other. Ask people where it is or take a taxi which will be about 1.000 colones. Or walk to the bridge of Santa Cruz or taxi and from there you take a hike with a car that passes by to Junquillal which is very common here to do. Usually it are the tourists that take tourists that are hiking. If you do not get a hike at that point, there is where the bus will pass you and you can wave it down instead of going to Alfaro bus station in the center of Santa Cruz.
