El Recedo is a family-owned private island situated among the Islets of Granada, Nicaragua. El Recedo has two spacious suites, 'Heron' and 'Hummingbird', each with a maximum occupancy of 4 persons. The island is managed by Hotel La Polvora in Granada. El Recedo is located 10 minutes by boat from Marina Cocibolca. Your stay on El Recedo includes your round-trip boat ride to and from the island. The eco-resort is solar powered and has state-of-the-art water filtration systems. A natural gas back-up generator is also available. Rooms are fully screened for insect protection and beds have mosquito nets should you feel the need to use them. You may use all areas of the island, use of the kitchen by special arrangement. Our small staff is on hand to assist you and provide meals. Our focus is your comfort and to provide a setting of quiet relaxation and privacy. One round-trip boat ride to the mainland is included in your daily rate. Taxis and additional transportation can be arranged with our staff. El Recedo will provide an island care-taker and cook for the duration of your stay. You will not be alone on the island! Our breakfast menu is included in your suite rate. Lunch and dinner items are listed with prices. Make your dinner selections earlier in the day and we will serve dinner at the time you choose. Help yourself to beverages from the fridge and record what you consume for payment at checkout. Our staff are available to serve you with smoothies and other menu items.
