El Coquí beach house; let nature put you to sleep.

Our place is as private or as friendly as you'd like. Whether you're looking for just a place to rest your head, or to meet folks happy to help guide you around our beautiful island, we can accommodate your needs. Cerro Gordo is a pretty easy starting point to get almost anywhere on the island. We're walking distance from two awesome beaches, 2 places for food and drinks, and a short drive from an awesome colmado (mini-mart.) Our house is two stories, and our family lives up top. The downstairs room is studio style, with a full bathroom, built-in kitchenette including mini-fridge (perfect for beverages, milk, eggs and such,) microwave (great for reheating leftovers) and a sink. There is Wifi, and a TV with internet access. The room is air-conditioned and also has a fan, and a nice picnic table and seating area right up front outside the room. There is also space within our house gate to park a car. Guest will also have access to our backyard deck, outdoor shower and basketball hoop. A short walk from two beautiful beaches. One one side is Cerro Gordo; a very family friendly public beach with an AMAZING sunset view and easy street access. A short walk in the other direction is what we call "playa campo" (though I'm sure that's not the real name) which is a bit further but still walking distance. "Playa campo" is a little more secluded, but still has beautiful views. When you enter Camino Verde street, it is the blue and grey two story house on the right with a balcony and green fence. Quiet single-entrance street. Walking distance from the beach and Sol y Mar restaurant. On the weekend, there is also food at the near little pub/colmado called Paquito's Place. For grocery items, Sammy's is an awesome nearby neighborhood market, though driving distance.
