Stevens House offers lodging for up to 9 guests. The main floor has a kitchen, dining room, living room and bathroom on the ground level as well as one wheelchair accessible bedroom with a king-sized bed and an en-suite wheelchair accessible bathroom. Upstairs is a common room with a couch & bed, 3 bedrooms, each with a 2 single beds, and a full bath. Discounts available for stays 7 nights or greater! There is a wheelchair ramp, and extensive grounds. Stevens House overlooks the French River. It is a historic home, and the second oldest house in Tatamagouche! It is lovingly restored, and is a great place to spend a few days with friends or family. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, stove, pots and pans. Our property has access to the Butter Trail - Trans Canada Trail. The village of Tatamagouche is 15 min on foot or 2 minutes by car. Access to full house and grounds. Bonfire and BBQ upon request. A staff person is always available via cell phone. Tatamagouche is a lovely, flourishing community on the North Shore of Nova Scotia. The Steven's House is located on the scenic grounds of the Tatamagouche Centre at the meeting of the French River and the Waugh River. You'll see eagles soaring, and an easy walk can take you into the village or along the trail for some breathtaking scenery. The Trans Canada trail is right in the back yard- from here it is an easy 15 minute walk into the Village and the Saturday Farmer's Market (9am-1pm). The Tatamagouche Bay and French River are steps away- bring your canoe or kayak and enjoy the tranquil waters.
