A beautiful cottage surrounded by a forest on the top of a natural reserve, hiking, walking, bird watching, or merely reading beside the fireplace will make this an unforgettable experience for a weekend getaway or an entire vacation. Please be aware that a 4x4 vehicle is needed to access the property. A master bedroom with two full or one king bed, a second bedroom with 5 full beds. One complete bathroom, a fully equipped open kitchen, and a dining table. Living room with wood-burning fireplace. TV set and sound equipment. At the outside, you can enjoy the view from the terrace equipped with a table and parasol or from the hammock. The property is entirely for the guests to use. We have a housekeeper to assist you with your needs We are located 1 hour from Bogotá in between two beautiful small towns, Subachoque and Tabio where you may find small general stores, restaurants, an art gallery, and a catholic church. The property is located inside a natural reserve, 10 minutes from the town of Subachoque, on the top of a mountain. It is only accessible by 4x4 vehicles, or by walking. We may arrange transportation from the town to the property for our guest´s convenience. Because of the secluded location of the cabin, We recommend that guests bring groceries and beverages, which may be bought at the many local markets in the town nearby. We also recommend guests bring comfortable shoes or hiking boots and warm clothing for the night.
