This is a warm, welcoming getaway that will make you feel right at home the moment you walk through the door. Very well appointed, with all the amenities you'd expect in a modern apartment. Located in the Jewel of the Caribbean, the coconut tree-lined backyard is bordered by the Belama canal. The neighborhood is quiet and made up of mostly upper middle class, professional households. Located close to restaurants, shops and public transportation. Cozy 2 bdrm fully air-conditioned apartment in one of the most desirable and tranquil residential suburban areas of Belize City. Back yard boasts coconut trees, a canal that leads to the main river, iguanas sunbathing and the occasional crocodile floating by. Guests can expect quiet evenings (except for the occasional dog barking in the distance). This property is located just two blocks from the well-known Best Western Belize Biltmore Plaza Hotel, which has an excellent restaurant. The local buses stop less than one block away on the corner, and go into town. The largest supermarket in the city is a few blocks away and within walking distance, or a short taxi ride. What makes this place unique is that one can enjoy all the comforts and amenities of home, while enjoying the city's energy, local ambiance and temperate weather. This neighborhood, located just 2.5 miles outside the city, is made up of mainly professional, upper middle class families. It is very quiet, and a welcome escape from the bustling, noisy city life. Close to public transportation, restaurants and supermarkets. Local buses stop one block away, in front of the local shop. Taxis are usually parked at the Biltmore hotel, about two blocks away. Note: When changing out the water bottle in the electric water cooler, turn off the power switch. Replace the bottle then run hot a and cold water for a couple seconds before turning power switch back on. Following these steps will prevent the hot water motor from becoming inoperable. Thanks.
