Newly reconstructed Scandinavian modern home located in convenient downtown Goose Island neighborhood. Located only one block from Pulpit Rock Brewing, Vesterheim, and Whippy Dip so you will be in the middle of everything Decorah has to offer. Take a trip down the Upper Iowa River and cruise right up to our backyard. Enjoy the many miles of paved and soft trails right out our door. This is a 1930's house that has been brought up to as-new condition with a ground-up reconstruction with a Scandinavian-modern flair. There are two bedrooms; one has queen size bed, the second has two twin beds. The main living area consists of sitting area, dining area, and kitchen. We do not live on site but are only a couple blocks away should you need anything. Our location really is second to none! You can't get any closer to Luther College campus, Vesterheim museum, or Pulpit Rock Brewing. Only two blocks from downtown and many of the outdoor recreation activities that Decorah has to offer. Leave your car at the house and you can access about everything by foot or bicycle. Across the street you can rent yourself an e-bike from Decorah Bicycles; this is a very popular mode of transportation and a terrific way to explore the Trout Run Trail and more!
