Toilet paper, paper towels, salt/pepper, dish soap and dishwasher detergent, garbage/recycling bags, and BBQ propane are supplied. TWO beach passes are included for use during your stay. Guests are expected to bring their own personal supplies such as bath soap and shampoo. A hairdryer is provided. Drinking Water: You are provided a water cooler with complementary jugs of water during your stay. If you're using the tap water however, the water supply comes from a well, therefore Ontario water regulations advise that you boil it before using it for drinking. . All bedrooms have tower floor fans with remotes. In the winter, Sandbanks has great trails for cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Britannia House is equally close to the County’s main town of Picton, with its supermarkets, LCBO, restaurants, cafes, boutique shopping and the Regent Theatre. Prince Edward County is two hours east of Toronto, 2.5 hours southwest of Ottawa and 4 hours west of Montreal. Stay in Britannia House to visit our wineries for tours and tastings, explore our beautiful scenery, cycle our country roads, visit our golf courses or do some fishing. And be sure not to miss the roadside farm stands and farmers’ markets! Known for its exceptional food, the County has many wonderful restaurants and cafes to choose from in Wellington, Bloomfield, Picton, Waupoos, and Lake-on-the-Mountain. You might want to stop for brunch at the iconic Drake by the Lake (Drake Devonshire) before you visit museums, art galleries, artisan and antique shops—or maybe attend a professional theatre production or music festival.
