Cozy Cottage with Ocean View

Warm and cozy all wood interior home with a beautiful view of a pond and the ocean. There are two lovely sand beaches within a 10 minute walk. Private yard. The house is small but open with a comfortable family room in back. Suitable for 2-4 people. The main part of the house is an open space for living room, dining area and kitchen. Nice views from all windows. The one bathroom is located on this first floor. Upstairs are the bedrooms which are cozy. Off the back entry way is a family room with high ceiling and lots of windows. Swimming and walking at Hirtle's Beach is delightful. This beach is a 2 minute ride from house. Also there is a general store in Rose Bay (7 min) and lots of restaurants and shops in Lunenburg and Mahone Bay (20 min). We have a drilled well in which the water contains a lot of iron. There is a system to help remove the iron but its efficiency varies. Therefore we advice drinking bottled water which will be provided and being aware that the washer may leave iron stains on light clothing. There is a TV in the house to use for DVD's. The General store in Rose Bay still rents them.
