AB Lodging in downtown Put-in-Bay (in the same building as AB Cart Rental) is a historic island hotelier's home, reimagined as cozy and economical suites. Right downtown yet tucked away for a quiet nights rest you'll be steps away from the national monument, the beach and all the downtown action. We're a short walk from the Jet Express or right across from the Miller Boat Bus depot. The bedrooms are smaller but are comfy and feature individual air control for your comfort. Super comfy beds, too! The Friends of the Bay Suite features two separate small (10'x10', 10'x8') bedrooms, but have queen beds. Both bedrooms are supplied with fresh linens, four pillows and extra blanket. They each have a window, ceiling light, end table with lamp, internet TV, phone charger clock and free WiFi signal. The two bedrooms share one full bathroom supplied with towels, hair dryer, soaps etc., and one common room with another TV, coffee service and chairs as well as a twin bed. There is a small common area that has a refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee station, chairs, twin bed and WiFi Firestick TV. Private, on-site car or cart parking is NOT available except carts rented from AB Cart Rental. We can offer paid off-site storage for your vehicle but it but it is expensive ($20/day) and there is no access to your vehicle while you are here, sort of park it and forget it . We recommend leaving your car on the mainland, purchasing a room and cart package, then park in your designated free golf cart space right on the street and only steps from your door! While staying at the Friends of the Bay Suite, stop around front for great discounts on Cart Rentals and fun water excursions like Jet Skis! If you know you want a golf while you are here please reserve it early because we often sell out. You'll have access to 2 private bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 common room, a private entrance and shared small outside deck with limited views of the lake and the monument. AB Lodging’s historic neighborhood was organized in (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) because it was next to the bathing beach and close to where the steamships dropped off its passengers. There were 2 roller coasters across the street and it was the heart of the daytime action. But at night all the noise moved to DiRivera Park which was right around the corner but far away enough for a good night’s sleep. Many hotels and lodging facilities came and went over the next hundred years because of this convenience. It’s much the same today. The Jet Express drops you off where the steamers did and we are still right next to the beach. The nighttime action is right around the corner but still far enough away to get a great nights sleep. The only difference is now our third tallest national monument is added to your view and instead of roller coasters there is a depot with a bakery, the informative chamber of commerce and a bus that takes you directly to and from the Miller Ferry. The location is still the best on the island for your visit! We have a golf cart rental on the property for your travel convenience. When its time to depart, the Jet Express dock is a short walk away or the bus for the Miller Ferry is directly across the street. We require a $200 refundable security deposit as long as all rules are followed and no damages to the property. During your stay we do not have maid service that services your room. We are full-time year-around residents, so we can tell you all you need to know about anything related to Put-in-Bay. There is no fish cleaning, cooking or storage at the property. Please take care to ensure no extra sanitization is required that might cause cancellations or complaints of the next guest.
