It is not the jungle (less humid, less noisy), nor the beach (cooler and more private), and it is located between the Pacific beaches and San Isidro del General, the closest city, where you can buy anything. On you way toward the beach or the city, there are stores offering fresh fruits and vegetables, and very good restaurants. Since we rent when we are not in the house, it is Maria and Jose, the caretakers of the property, who welcome the guests and show them around. They also can solve problems (if there is any). Maria does the laundry (4$/h); she can also do some cleaning for you. When people make a reservation, I send a file containing the precise location of the house and the way to get to it, as well as pertinent infos about it and about the surrounding area. From the house, you see the landscape only, a serie of mountains that go to the Pacific. No neighbour so to speak. Maria, Jose and their daugthers live on the property, but you do not see their house. To get to the house, you have only 2 km of dirt road, well maintained throughout the year. All the same, you better have a 4X4 (as everywhere in Costa Rica). We are ecofriendly, and we ask our tenants to buy "green" products, if they have to. There are some in San Isidro grocery stores. We welcome animals, but not on the couch or the beds, please, since we are allergic to dogs and cats.
