Spacious and gorgeous from top to bottom. Granite counters and 8 ft island, stone fireplace, and tile floor throughout the main floor kitchen, living room #1, entry, 1/2 bath, and den/bedroom #4. Carpeted stairs and throughout the 3 bedrooms and bonus room (living room #2) above the garage. Huge Master suite and ensuite extend the full width of the house. The large second bedroom ( 2 single beds or together as a King bed) and third bedroom (queen bed) and 5 piece bath complete the upstairs. Additional cleaning routines including sanitizing and antibacterial protocols are now in place BEFORE and AFTER EVERY RESERVATION. Therefore we have extended the time between reservations to two day. Additional cleaning supplies will be provided, including hand sanitizer and wipes, in addition to plenty of hand soap, tissues, paper towels, and of course, toilet paper. We also have plenty of pillows, sheets, blankets, towels, and wash clothes. Please feel free to communicate with us regarding anything you don't see on our list and we will do our best to meet your needs. Our guests have pretty much all of the main and second floor for their use. The housekeeping room and pantry on the main floor and a housekeeping closet on the second floors are excluded from the guests use. The owners live in the basement suite with a separate entrance from the back yard and the garage is also for owners’ storage and the owners’ car. Please use the left side of the driveway for your vehicle. The deck facing the south, over looks the park and the beautiful Rockies in the distance. You may access the park beyond the backyard through the gate in the fence at the centre of the back yard. The park and the walkways are for all of us to use so feel free to make use of it all. Dicksey will meet you when you arrive (respecting social distancing) to give you your code for the front door and to give operational instruction for appliances, fireplace, blinds, recycle bins, and jetted tubs and self check out. We are as close as our cell phones if you need help with anything or have questions. Dicksey is available for evening and weekends and Joe is readily available throughout the day to help. Cell phone numbers are in the house manual that you will receive when you check in. We live on a quite street in one of the most desired neighbourhoods in Cochrane. There are many hiking and walking trails throughout the neighbourhood. You will see many families out for walks at all times of the day, especially on the weekend. We have a local market called the Trading Post a short distance away with several places to eat as well as a take out pizza shop for those days you do not want to cook. Fuel and snacks are also available. I will provide a map in your welcome packet. Do check out the Guidebook on this listing for other great places to visit while in the area. There are taxis available and our NEW COLT on demand public transportation service if you want a ride downtown. Calgary is about 20 minutes away by car to the LRT station and public parking and public transit. And I'm sure there are tour buses that connect with Banff if you are wanting to leave the driving to the pros when you head to the mountains! Please feel free to bring your family and enjoy our home. Well behaved and supervised children are always welcome. We do ask that you, the adults maintain the peace and quite that is typical in our home. This is not at all a party house and all guests, including children over 2, need to be registered and included in the guest count ($15 per guest/per night over 4 guests). Children under 2, always stay for free. This is a smoke free property inside and out. Please no vaping, marijuana or tobacco. Thank you for reading and agreeing to the house rules BEFORE booking with us. Parking for your stay at our house is available on a first come first serve basis on the street in front of our house and 1 parking place on the driveway. The owners will always need access to the garage and basement suite (from a separate entrance at the back ground level) so the driveway needs to remain clear for the car in the garage to get out.
