The apartment is located on Main Street in Playa Chiquita, the quietest and safest area of Puerto Viejo, a few meters from the most beautiful beach in the Caribbean. A few meters away you will also find restaurants, supermarkets, and bike rentals. PLEASE NOTE: Neighbors are doing construction work at the moment, this could lead to noise during the day. The apartment is completely private and does not share spaces with other guests or with the owners. It is inside a completely closed and secure property, surrounded by a large tropical garden where you can see birds, sloths and monkeys. It consists of a main room with a double bed, a bathroom, a kitchen area with a sofa bed and a patio overlooking the wonderful tropical garden. It is a completely brick construction in Mediterranean style, completely protected by mosquito nets that will keep all unwanted insects away. We always put all our work and our passion to offer the best accommodation for our guests. We do not charge cleaning costs but we invite you to respect this space and help us by leaving the apartment as clean and tidy as you found it. The area is very quiet and surrounded by nature, a perfect place to rest and relax. The beach, considered the most beautiful in the Caribbean, is a 5-minute walk from the apartment and is reached through a path surrounded by nature. The apartment is located in Playa Chiquita, a very well-connected and accessible neighborhood where you can get everything you need in a few minutes walk. It is a very safe area so, also at night, you can go out and enjoy the nearby restaurants with no worries. Near the house you will find several bicycle rentals, the best solution to reach the beautiful beaches of Puerto Viejo and enjoy the nature of the area. The house has private covered parking inside the property, completely safe and accessible for all types of cars. We have a charger for electric vehicles. The hosts will be always available to help you during your stay and can be contacted either by phone or through the Airbnb App. Playa Chiquita is rightly considered the pearl of the Caribbean: its beach is considered the most beautiful among many spectacular ones that exist here. Besides Playa Chiquita, which is a couple of minutes' walk from the house, all the other main beaches are a few minutes by car or bicycle: Punta Uva (2km), Playa Cocles (3.5km) and Manzanillo (6.5km). The area is very well located and you can find within a few steps everything you may need during your stay: restaurants, sodas, super, bike rental, coffee shops, breakfast place, shops, barbers and much more. Everything you need for your stay (super, restaurants, cafes, etc) is located a few meters from the house, easily accessible a couple of minutes away. The best solution to get around the area is by bicycle, everything is very close and you can enjoy the sun and nature. There are several places that rent bicycles a few meters from the house with prices around $ 7-8 per day. You can also use a small tuk-tuk taxi, cheap and perfect to move between the beaches in the area. They go through the main street at all times, you just have to extend your arm to stop them. The bus that connects the center of Puerto Viejo and Manzanillo passes every hour and stops exactly in front of the house, also you only have to extend your arm to stop it. Despite the lush vegetation, we are in an area where there is a severe water shortage. We ask our guests not to waste this precious resource.
