Old Shop Haven B&B - Ocean View Room

Our home is located just 50 min outside St. John's (TCH west) off Route 80 in Old Shop, NL on scenic Trinity Bay (South Dildo area). Our oceanview guest room includes a private ensuite, Queen size bed, Black out curtains and blinds, sitting area, access to deck over looking the ocean where whales, eagles and sea birds can be viewed in season. We offer complimentary Hot and Cold Breakfast choices between 8 - 10 am. Enjoy our outside fire pits. This is a retreat area and close to many attractions. Wheelchair accessible. We have the perfect place for quiet retreats, for musicians to record, artists to paint or for you to hike, canoe or kayak, or for sight seeing in the area. Our guest are welcome to lounge by the fire in our living room, sit out on our beautiful deck, or have a camp fire in our fire pits. We also have a music room for playing and recording available by request only. We are available to socialize with our guests or give them space and privacy. Let us know your preference! We are in a rural area on the ocean. You'll see the stars and hear the ocean waves. There is a Local boat tour 10 minutes away in the beautiful community of Dildo, NL as well as The Dildo Brewery & museum, dory rentals, hiking trails, and cafes! We are 50 minutes west of the capital city, St. John's, 1 hour east of Clarenville and 30 minutes to other towns such as Carbonear and Bay Roberts. This is an ideal location for musicians or artists, people who love the outdoors or if you're in need of a quiet get away! There is a local taxi in this area. You will need your own vehicle (or a rental) to get around and sight see in the area.
