Historic Pearl Hartt Cabin-drive to hut in Clark

Come visit the historical, recently renovated, Pearl Hartt Cabin at the Elk River Guest Ranch. Enjoy a remote, scenic retreat into nature. Located in Clark Colorado off Seedhouse Road Gateway to the Mt. Zirkel Wilderness. Come to sit by the fire or get outside and engage in all the summer/winter activities there are to offer right out the backdoor. Hiking, biking, fishing, XC skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and backcountry skiing are accessible from the property just 2 miles down the road. Surrounded by 9 million acres of wilderness and National Forest, the Elk River Guest Ranch is just 25 miles north of Steamboat, Colorado. The Elk River flows to the edge of the property. Come with your family, your friends or your special group. Arrange a snowshoe tour and plan a group dinner in our commercial kitchen. Hire a caterer- we have good local recommendations :) The 5 bedrooms upstairs in the lodge are comfortable and cozy. There is one full bath and one half bath in the lodge. The main lodge living area and dining room provide a cozy gathering space for your group to hang out. There is plenty of parking for 2-3 large trailers and also have a few other private cabins for rent if you need more space; family reunion, ski/snowmobile trip with the friends or a wedding event. This being said, you may be sharing parking spaces in front of your cabin with other guests onsite. We are a pet friendly community so no need to be alarmed to see people walking their dogs around the area. We allow 1 pet in the cabin for a non-refundable fee of $50. Internet is provided by a fiberoptic broadband company so is very fast and you are able to stream movies and TV. Most of our guests come to stay and play in the outdoors so feel free to unplug if you’d like! As a guest of the Lodge, you will have use of the whole building. Firewood is provided and the kitchen is fully stocked with anything you may need. Access to deck/patio area with BBQ Grill, hot tub and outdoor seating. We are available on property in a cabin if you need anything during your stay Enjoy the famous Clark Store 3 miles down the road for breakfast/lunch or a coffee. Take a short drive down the road to access xc skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and backcountry skiing. We also have 38 acres that backs up to national forest that you are able to utilize. Located in a quiet, serene beautiful location surrounded by Routt National Forest and Wilderness. We ask that you will only have one dog (sorry no cats), they will be on a leash if outside or under your direct control, you will pick up after them and will not leave them alone in the cabin when you are outside or enjoying the recreation in the area. Guests share space with nearby cabins. Our cabins are a place where guests come to relax and enjoy the peace of nature. Please respect other guests. No playing loud music, fireworks, barking dogs, etc. We appreciate you not being loud anytime but especially after dark.
