Our modern two bedroom cottage provides a comfortable base to access the national park surrounding Villa la Angostura. It has private parking, dish washer, washing machine, an extra large traditional grill, broadband Internet and a deck large enough to dance on. It's located 2 km from the central street in the city. The neighborhood is situated on a hill and sometimes we have to take the long way around due to the snow. We are happy to show you how and help you out. This cabin is built in a modern style that has been tweaked with a Scandinavian flair by its Swedish owners. Since they use the cabin themselves it has all life's necessities, including dishwasher and washing machine. The neighborhood is built on a hill and on the few days that we get snow we have to drive the long way around. The access road to the house is slightly sloped so if in doubt park at the top. Guests have full access to off road parking, a grill area, a large wooden deck, washing machine, dishwasher, Internet and TV. Access to the parking can seem a bit narrow if your truck is very big. Take a big breath, lower your mirrors and drive slowly. The access road is slightly sloped so take it easy on the accelerator when coming back up. The cabin is separate to our family living, but we are just two blocks away. Unless we are out kayaking or hiking we are available to our guests at all reasonable hours. However, guests are expected to manage their stay individually. The neighbourhood is purely residential and very quiet. It's 2 km from the central street and situated on a hill. You will be befriended by the local cats and dogs if you wish. There is access to hiking trails three blocks away, and the supermarket is only five blocks from the house. The city center is barely two kilometers away so for dinner out we recommend walking there and asking the restaurant or bar to call you a remisse or taxi to go back home, The city centre and supermarket are barely 2 km away. If you want to rent a car or a bike to explore the lakes there are several national and local companies available. It is possible to walk, although the roads are dirt and in summer they are dusty and in winter muddy. But as they say in Sweden: “There isn’t any bad weather, just inadequate clothes.” To get to the house drive all the way up the hill on Huiliches and follow the signs toward the B&B Las Rosas. You will find La Escandinava two houses before Las Rosas.
