Utopia’s Edge, lakeside cottage

Our home away from home is situated in a quiet cove on the beautiful Lake Utopia. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets from the back deck, we are a water front property with a dock. You can relax while children play safely in the fully fenced in back yard, or adventure in the property's tree house. Enjoy a BBQ supper on the fully furnished back deck that is covered so you can be outside in all weather conditions. Our tranquil location is perfect to relax, recharge and escape the stress of daily life. The main floor boasts an open concept living room and kitchen that is fully equipped with a stunning granite countertop. Full bathroom with double walk in shower (no tub) washer and dryer. Bedroom 1 is equipped with a king bed and rocking chair, bedroom 2 is equipped with a queen bed, and bedroom 4 is equipped with a single bed. There are both front and rear decks, along with a BBQ grilling deck. The back deck and BBQ grilling deck are covered. Travel up the winding staircase to the open loft/Bedroom 3. With sloping ceilings and sky lights you can fall asleep in the queen bed while watching the stars. All bedrooms have plenty of storage space so you don't have to live out of your suitcase while staying. There is an antique bureau writing desk under the stair case should you need to work while on vacation. Our cottage is perfect for families and couples looking for a quiet getaway, it is not suitable for parties, events or loud groups due to close neighboring cottages. Fenced in back yard. Located near NB trails, as well as the Deer Island and Grand Manan Ferries. 10 minute walk to the local convenience/hunting and fishing store. 10 minute drive to local town St George 30 minute drive to local tourist towns St Andrews and St Stephen. 45 minute drive from nearest city Saint John. Free onsite parking for 3 vehicles. Pack and play and camp cots available upon request. There is a TV in the living room that has a chrome cast to stream from your own device however no cable TV is provided. There are many board games in the home for guests to use during their stay. We are able to connect guests with a local kayak company if you wish to rent kayak’s or a canoe during your stay.
