This home overlooks the Gulf of Paria and allows guests to either get far away to relax in the rustic south of the island or be as busy as they like with easy access (via car) to local shops, restaurants, family friendly activities, the beach and nightlife. Local Fitness Centre located on access to road (5 mins walk from house). It is good for business travellers, families (with kids), large groups or smaller groups. The house is situated on c.10,000 sq ft of land with lush greenery and some local fruit trees at the rear of the property. There are Ocean views to the front of the property. The space itself is open plan, light and airy with high ceilings, and two fully equipped Kitchens. The space is flexible for small or large number of guests. Up to 6 guests will be accommodated in the Main House which has three bedrooms. The annex is a self contained apartment with its own kitchen and living area as well as 2 bedrooms that sleeps up to 4 more people. Guests have access to all areas except the locked storage rooms and any cupboards with personal items. Guests staying in the annex will also be able to access the laundry room situated in the main building. Happy to keep in contact via what's ap or email. Assistance is a phone call away. This Neighbourhood is new build in old Trinidad! It is Nostalgic in that the area is reminiscent of island life as you would expect it. The house itself provides interesting contrast as it is modernly equipped. Local cuisines such as doubles are sold on the nearby southern junction (10 min walk from the house). A plethora of international restaurants and fast food chains are located in nearby Gulf City development. The food court at Gulf City also has a number of options for local Cuisine. We like heading to Cross Crossing or Duncan Village for the local "muslim BBQ". A short 15 min drive on the new Highway to the Indian community in Debe also allows for larger selections and options for Indian foods. Evening dining at More Vino/More Sushi in San Fernando is a favourite of ours. The new Caribbean Scene Cinemas at South Park are also great for an evening out. There are a number of Night Clubs in the Gulf City vicinity. San Fernando Hill provides a nice hike with beautiful views at the top. A playground for Kids is also at the top. A vehicle is required for getting around generally in Trinidad. Taxis, buses and Water Taxis (travelling from Sando to POS) can be easily accessed but due to the heat and tropical climate it is advisable to rent a car. Uber is also supposed to be coming to T&T soon which will make getting around easier. Cleaning, extra charge.
