APPROVED FOR QUARANTINE STAYS. A perfect location for enjoying Princess Margaret Beach - one of the World's best beaches. Wonderful views of the beach and the majestic yachts at anchor - and of the sometimes magical sunsets. No need for vehicle hire. For happy walkers, there is a scenic cliff-side trail into Port Elizabeth and over to Lower Bay. This listing is for use of one bedroom, but you can choose which bedroom you would like to sleep in. The twin bedroom can be made up as king. Offers a fully equipped kitchen for holiday use, including picnic ware, and a built-in BBQ outside of the kitchen door. Choice of dining table - eat in kitchen or on the balcony with a stunning view. Guests have access to both bedrooms and shower rooms (his and hers?), but for the one bedroom rate we only make up one of the rooms. Can choose between queen size bed or twin beds, together as king, or apart. Beach towels are supplied. Rent is self-catering. Advance provisions can be supplied at cost plus small service charge for housekeeper's time. The pool is shared with other residents of the villa - maximum occupancy is 8 persons, but as A Shade of Blues is so close to the most beautiful swimming waters at Princess Margaret, it is not extensively used by guests or the owners except to cool off. As well as a comfortable balcony with a magical view of the beach, yachts and ocean to eat and relax, there is also a small patio with circular lounge chair outside for Apartment guests - to gaze at the night sky perhaps? There are 3 independent living quarters at A Shade of Blues. The Apartment is on the top level. Owners are in residence in the middle level during the winter. The lower accommodation is available to rent elsewhere on this web site. Guests are requested to use the steps for access as the driveway is very steep and can be slippery. Your fitness levels will improve during your stay. There is plenty space to hang washables out to dry. Washing machine facilities are available for a small tip when the housekeeper is working (every 3/4 days). When in residence, we are happy to assist you to enjoy your time on beautiful Bequia. When we are not in residence, we employ wonderful staff to take good care of you. They are always available by phone. The Apartment has a lot of privacy and independent living areas. A community of luxury rental villas and Jack's Bar - a sophisticated beach bar restaurant - and the World renowned Princess Margaret beach. A popular anchorage for yachties. Luxury supa yachts and small cruise ships anchor offshore. Sleep with the sound of the sea and wildlife. Daytime includes the sounds of happy folk enjoying the beach. Princess Margaret Beach, Jack's Bar, De Lion's Den for lobster beach picnics, and Fay's beer & rum punch stall are very close. Fit walkers can get almost everywhere you would want to go on foot. There is a cliff-side trail into De Harbour / Belmont / Port Elizabeth and over to Lower Bay. Water taxis are a special experience. Land taxis are not expensive - and the drivers will enhance your vacation experience. This is a wonderful location to take some boating trips. Friendship Rose cruises to Mustique and Tobago Cays are especially popular, so may want to check them in advance. Check online for Bequia This Week and Bequia What's On. A water taxi is a magical way to travel into Port Elizabeth or around the harbour. Bequia has a large choice of restaurants, many within walking distance via the cliff-side trail during daylight and all within a short distance. Jack's Bar is immediately below the villa - in high season party night is normally Tuesday and the music will finish by midnight. Taxi fares are not expensive for night time outings. During Covid times, housekeeping will be reduced to changeovers only. Extra linens and towels and cleaning materials will be provided to enable guests to manage independently.
