Casa del Árbol @Pueblo Verde
Climb on to our most emblematic house! Floating over the top of the trees, this house is tucked away, surrounded by a magnificent landscape and a small creek (in raining season), setting the perfect mood for a romantic getaway or a relaxing time off. And did we mention there is a hanging bridge? The house has an open plan living and dining area, and glass walls so you can soak in the dramatic jungle scenario at all times. It also has a terrace, a deck, and a jungle plunge pool, overseeing the creek. At night, you can light up the magical string lights to enjoy a late-night swim. Sit down on the rocking chairs, read a book while indulging in the breathtaking scenario, or have breakfast by the pool. And last but not least let’s talk about rest, after all, that’s what you’re coming for right? The house has two bedrooms with AC, private showers, ergonomic anti-allergic 5-star mattresses, and blackout curtains to ensure a good night’s rest. The main room has a queen bed and the second room can be either 2 twin beds or 1 king-size bed. The only complaint we’ve got is people don’t want to leave. We have a fully equipped (jungle) gym, with yoga mats, TRX equipment, and weights. Look for the stairs next to the entrance bridge. But that’s not all! If you follow the trail you’ll find a nice hidden yoga deck, and fruit trees at your disposal (lemons, mangoes, water-apple, and starfruit). The property provides the right sense of privacy and serenity to enjoy nature in the most comfortable way possible. The mesmerizing scenery sparks your senses and if you’re lucky, you’ll get a visit from some of our wild neighbors like coatis, capuchin monkeys, congo’s, morph butterflies, scarlet macaws, and so many other friends. And we saved the best for last, Doris, the icing on the already amazing cake. You will have access to our cherished housekeeper (and your new best friend) who’ll help you keep everything in place, nice and clean. We can also arrange to take a portable BBQ grill up to your house, so you can enjoy a lovely cookout surrounded by nature. In case we should not be able to be there in person, we will be just a phone call or an email away for you. We usually trying to be at the beach on the weekends as we work in San Jose. Doris the housekeeper is on site from Monday to Saturday 6am - 5 pm and is happy to help you out if needed. The property is close to everything yet far enough to enjoy a relaxing getaway. Only 35 minutes from Samara Beach, the location is optimal for those who want to explore Costa Rica’s natural beauties, beaches, and adventures knowing that they’ll have a super comfy bed to come home to. The ocean is just a few hundred meters down the road and Islita is a very small town but very unique and authentic. The best part: Its people. You can join the local soccer games on the “plaza” every Tuesday, check out the rural museum, hike to the tiny waterfall on the top of the road or pick up some fresh local ingredients in the “pulperia” to cook your own meal. Don’t feel like cooking? Head up to Miguel’s… You’ll thank us later! Public transportation is not available to islita. It's tucked away and little explored by tourists. I recommend you a 4WD if you travel by car.. I am happy to help you with a shuttle to get to the property and organize you a car rental drop off.
