Waterfront with private dock and huge patio area overlooking the Hudson River. Great for outdoor activities such as kayaking, fishing, swimming, tubing, or relaxing. 14 miles to Lake George and 18 miles to Saratoga. Screened in gazebo, and fire pits to relax and unwind. With large sliding doors, most of the house has views of the river. We have three kayaks you are welcome to enjoy. You will feel at home and comfortable in this spacious home! Please note: this is NOT a party house, our neighbors will not tolerate loud partying to occur. If you are looking to host drinking games...not the place to rent. Cell coverage can be spotty, but we have excellent WiFi and a landline at the property. Circular driveway for parking, and carport will accommodate most boats. Although we cannot launch from our property, the Upper Hudson boat launch is less than a quarter mile away! The entire house, with the exception of a small storage room and the basement. We live close by and can respond quickly! We often travel using Airbnb, and respect the fact that you want to have a peaceful stay. Waterhouse Restaurant, Rocco's Pizza and Up River Cafe very close to the property, as well as a Stewarts Shop and Harris Grocery and Tops Market. Local Laundromat just minutes away. 11 miles from Hadley Mountain Trailhead, 14.6 miles from Prospect Mtn. Trailhead. Please note: We typically put the dock in the week before Memorial Day, and take it out after Labor Day. However, you will still have access to the river and the patio an excellent spot to sit riverside and enjoy the foliage and crisp fall campfires!
