Tides-In Cottage is a 2 bedroom, BEACH- FRONT rental designed with families in mind! Maximum occupancy is five (queen bed in the master, second bedroom has a queen bed and twin XL). We offer many unique amenities at Still Waters Cottages; LIGHTHOUSE and WATER view, screened porch, AC, you can seal watch from our kayaks, dig clams right at our beach, swim in warm sheltered waters and watch stunning PEI sunsets! 'Tides-In' Cottage boasts a beautiful water AND lighthouse view with only steps to the beach. At night, while sitting in your fully screened porch, you can hear the seals playing and splashing in the water at the beach! Tides-In Cottage is one of five rentals at Still Waters Cottages and RV Rentals. They are all nestled in a waterfront cottage nook. This is a private road and only those staying here travel into this area. Each rental is facing the lighthouse and water! It is such a safe and beautiful area for families! We provide a BBQ for your use (propane included). The beach at Still Waters Cottages is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy. The water is warm and perfect for swimming, snorkelling and digging clams when the tide goes out. The sand bars are a gold mine of fun for children to play, make sand castles, collect shells and splash in the shallow waters. It's certainly a place to inspire a child's imagination and easily spend hours of free entertainment! Guests will have access to a tandem as well as three single kayaks. Often times, in the evening & morning, the water on the Cardigan River turns to glass and is absolutely perfect for kayaking. If it isn't wonderful enough...your paddling experience often turns into your very own, personal, seal watching tour! Amazing! *Life vests and paddles are provided. Use at your own risk. We do stay on the premises of Still Waters Cottages, in our private home. We are always accessible by phone call or text. Tides-In Cottage is one, of five, accommodation options at Still Waters. When we planned this cottage we imagined the couple that needs a break to relax and restore and enjoy... The kitchen is fully functional. The large screen room is a highlight of this property... you will find yourself relaxing here in the evening unwinding after a beautiful day at our beach or kayaking with seals RIGHT here at our location! Our goal at Still Waters is to provide a place of relaxation and restoration; a place to play on the beach... to nap in your screen room... to grill... to watch sunsets... to dig clams on the beach... to seal watch in a kayak... etc. You get the point. It's pretty special. It's not just a place to stay. It's a place to EXPERIENCE. Parking is included and free. There is not public transportation nearby. Georgetown the Capital of Kings County is the perfect little fishing village to spend the day exploring. With less than a 5-minute car ride you can find everything from local restaurants with Island seafood cuisine, a Play House Theater, art gallery, sweet shop, and handmade sea glass jewelry shop. This little town boasts the award winning title of Maritime Cultureville in 2013! The local theater is one of the longest running theaters in Canada with many live shows and entertainment options to fill your evenings. The beautiful grounds at the Play House and the many old churches are a great way to spend the afternoon strolling through the town. Tranquility Cove Adventures also sets sail daily from Georgetown offering many experiential adventures from giant bar clam digging, starfish hunting and deep sea fishing! Georgetown is packed with cultural experiences and inhabited by friendly locals. For the avid golfers, Brudenell River and Dundarave Provincial Golf Courses are located less than 5 minutes away. These courses are favorites for visitors and locals as well! Still Waters Cottages is approximately 50 minutes from Basin Head Provincial Beach (awarded Canada's #1 beach in 2013) and 40 minutes from Pamure Island Provincial Beach and Lighthouse!
