Cozy private room close to UCR and Escalante!

Hello! We are Pedro and Marcela, a couple of ticos who love to travel and meet people from different cultures and backgrounds :) We live in a small apartment complex close to San Pedro, known for being the "college district", along with our 3 pets (2 dogs and a cat). We offer you a private room where you can leave your belongings while you explore nearby attractions or if you go on tour for the day. All other spaces are shared with us, including the kitchen, bathroom and living room. You can cook your meals and also use our fridge or washing machine if needed :) Being avid travelers ourselves, we love having a good chat with our guests, if the opportunity comes by. Pedro is a tourist guide while Marce is a content creator. We both speak English and Marce speaks Portuguese as well. We would like you to feel as comfortable as possible and grant you the freedom to go in and out of the apartment, so we will grant you an individual set of keys for this. We don't stress much about people arriving late to our place, but just be aware that other people live at the complex so try to respect their sleep hours :) Our place is located in a small neighborhood, nearby to a main street where public transportation is available (buses, taxis, etc). Downtown San Jose is 15 minutes away. It is also close to nightlife spots like Barrio Escalante, theathers, cultural venues, shopping centers, restaurants and college campuses. In summary, close to all the best features from our city, plus some hidden natural gems (like sloths in the nearby college campuses!). We'll give you all the travel tips you need to make your stay a pleasant one, including how to move from one place to another. If you need transportation to the airport, we can also facilitate it for an additional fee. As we mentioned, we have 3 pets in our house. If you love animals, you'll feel at home! They are pretty friendly. We only ask you to be careful when opening the door as they like to go outside without permission.
