This Adult Only Air BnB, is the perfect home away from home for traveling professionals who are tired of staying in hotels or for anyone coming to visit family in the Alamo, Danville, Lafayette, or San Ramon Valley. For any couple looking for a romantic getaway we are set on a half-acre wooded estate, in the upscale community of Alamo, just east of San Francisco and just 50 minutes southeast of Napa and Wine Country. Casa Di Riposo is waiting for you! A Countryside Stay Just Outside the City! We chose this property for Casa Di Riposo because of its quiet and beautiful surroundings, within a stone's throw of the hustle and bustle of downtown San Francisco and its world class sites. It is the best combination of country living near the city. We also love being less than an hour from Wine Country with its world-famous wineries or the beautiful oceanside communities of Carmel and Monterey to the South. We can also be in the beautiful mountains of the Sierra Nevada and Lake Tahoe or the World famous Yosemite National Park in just three hours of very scenic driving. Guests Have access to a 600 Square foot part of our home with a private side entrance to a Master Bedroom with a desk for woking, a large Living Room comfortably appointed with a large sectional sofa, a small bar affords a small bar refrigerator for food, a counter top Microwave and a Brevel Oven and space to cook. High Speed Internet, Big Screen TV, 2nd TV in Bedroom Suite, Cable, Apple TV, Movie and Music libraries via Bluetooth from your phone or a Bluetooth enabled device. There is a small table for two just outside the Air Bnb front door on the deck for just relaxing or eating outside. This part of our home has its own external entry door and affords complete privacy without having to come through or share or the rest of the house with the owners. When the owners are home, they welcome interaction with renters but also respect their privacy. When home, the owners may occasionally be in the shared side just in front of the Air BnB entry, but gladly share with their Air BnB guests, access to the west side yard of the grounds. A small bistro table for two outside the front door to the Air BnB on the entry deck for relaxing or outdoor dining in the privacy of the fenced and gated yard. There is a BarBQue for the Air BnB just to the left of the entry and exit gate along the fence. The main residence backyard and pool area are NOT a part of the Air BnB shared space and is not an option for use as it is the family’s private living space and always closed to guests. Casa Di Riposo is a great place to relax and and rest or work remote or just the enjoy the peace and quiet of the Alamo surroundings. Alamo, the location of Casa Di Riposo, is tucked in between Danville, CA. a quaint town with a classic Main Street and great restaurants and shops along Danville Blvd., 5 minutes to the South and Walnut Creek, one of the Bay Area's best foodie and high end shopping areas 5 minutes to the North along Main Street and the surrounding neighborhoods. You can also walk out the door and in 2 minutes hike or bike along the scenic and tree lined Iron Horse Trail. The Iron Horse Trail, once a Railroad track, was paved over and turned into a pristine paved hiking trail with over thirty miles of hiking through the communities of the historic San Ramon and Diablo Valley. Mount Diablo, dominating the horizon to the East, is one of the best of San Francisco's regional parks, affording breathtaking views of the San Ramon Valley to its west and on a clear day views all the way to the state of Nevada and the Sierra Nevada Mountains to the East. Public transportation could not be more convenient. A bus leaves, literally from the corner of the property and connects regularly to BART trains to all parts of the San Francisco Bay Area. The Guest Welcome Manual is filled with public transportation information to make it easy for guest to explore the Bay Area. For the working professional you are a quick drive to businesses located from Pleasanton to the south to Walnut Creek and Concord on the north and easy connection to San Francisco by car or public transportation via the Highway 24 corridor through Lafayette, Orinda, Moraga and Oakland. For parents visiting children or grandchildren we are very close to UC Berkeley, Saint Mary's College, Cal-State East Bay and Diablo Valley College.
