Relax and unwind in this beautiful country retreat nestled on 2.5 acres with southwest views of the rolling countryside - rooms are thoughtfully appointed to ensure a comfortable stay with plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. This large modern farmhouse styled home is a wonderful spot for a family vacation - best suited for larger groups-extended family/or 2 families to share-sleeps 10. Weekly bookings - Sat to Sat - July/August. Varying min at other times. Approximatel (Website hidden by Airbnb) minute drive to the beautiful seaside town of North Rustico, the wonderful beaches at Cavendish National Park and the attractions in the Cavendish Resort area. With the city of Charlottetown and its popular Victoria Row and Peakes Wharf areas only a scenic 35 minute drive away, it's the ideal spot for enjoying all that PEI has to offer. Enjoy a day at the beach or taking in the sights - with a wonderful private spot to come back to and relax at the end of the day. The home is well equipped with everything needed to enjoy your vacation. A propane BBQ, camp stove and fire pit are available for your use and the home has both front and back covered porches to enjoy those warm summer evenings or a great space to relax at day's end. The main level offers an open concept kitchen, dining and sitting area along with a 2 piece washroom with laundry facilities and a queen bedroom. The spacious master bedroom on the upper level offers an en-suite washroom with shower and plenty of closet space. There are a further three spacious bedrooms on the upper level and a large family washroom with double sinks, tub and shower. We offer reliable Wi-Fi, a 42” flat screen TV (Netflix only) in the lower level family room along with an area for the little ones with board games, etc.. Guests have access to the entire house with the exception of locked storage areas and garage. The entire outdoor space is available for their use. Our goal is to offer guests privacy to enjoy their holiday but we do have a dedicated property manager nearby if needed and although I am not personally available, guests are always welcome to contact me. There will also be someone on site occasionally doing routine property maintenance work as needed. A little about the nearby town of North Rustico. Located adjacent to Prince Edward Island National Park, North Rustico is a delightful summertime destination with a beautiful boardwalk area which is popular in the summer months but still accessible during most of the shoulder season and is a popular spot in the evening for a quiet stroll with a fantastic views along the seafront. Although North Rustico is quieter during the shoulder season (May/June/Sept) it does still provide a year round grocery store, coffee shop, hardware and liquor store as well as pharmacy and gas station. We are set in a rural location well set back from the road with one neighbour to the south side of the property and a couple of neighbours on the opposite side of the road. The rear of the property is very private with a natural tree line to the rear and north and pastoral views to the southwest. If arriving by air, renting a car is recommended as PEI is such a beautiful province to explore. As we are a small Island, day trips are a favorite way for many visitors to explore the charming villages and wonderful beaches the Island has to offer. Cavendish Lane is minutes away from some of the most beautiful beaches on the Island, Anne of Green Gables House, the Cavendish Boardwalk and world famous Cow’s Ice Cream with many tourist activities nearby. If golf is your passion, we are located within 10 minutes of six golf courses for you to enjoy - Green Gables, Eagles Glenn, Forest Hills, Anderson Creek, Red Sands and the scenic views of Glasgow Hills. Why not try your hand at kayaking or perhaps a deep sea fishing or sailing excursion or an evening stroll along the boardwalk in North Rustico.
