The boat ride has extra cost. There are 4 bedrooms and we can host up to 16 people. We are happy to help with the logistics (transportation and grocery shopping) to get to our place to make you have a wonderful stay. You will need to arrange transportation (we have a boat we can rent or we can help you get a ride there through the public boats). We recommend taking a private boat; more comfortable, you can leave at whatever time is more convenient (4PM the latest) and you can take your groceries and luggage comfortably. The cost for the private boat can range from US330 (boat for up to 8 people with luggage), US 500 (boat for up to 12 people with luggage) and US700 (boat up to 16 people with luggage). We will also help with grocery shopping and send a menu previous to your arrival so you can choose what you would like to have. The groceries have to be paid by those staying at our property once they arrive. Groceries - we will send you menu ideas and you can choose whatever you want for each meal. We will do the grocery shopping for you (so you don´t have to spend time doing that) and load it on the boat (private boat). If you decide to go on public transportation we will have to send the food by car and boat and it will have a cost of around 100USD. This grocery shopping service has an extra cost of US50. But we will make sure you have everything you need and want and place it on the boat or at the island if you leave by public transportation. You can use the entire place when you rent the property; it has 3 cabins, 1 boat house with a room, kitchen, dining and living area. The property will be exclusively for you and won´t have to share with other guests. TRANSPORTATION Our island properties are located 50 minutes away by boat from Cartagena. The best and most comfortable way to get there is on a private boat. Here you can find more information on transportation. Private Boat Rentals (these prices are charged per day) - Boat for up to 6 people PLUS luggage PLUS groceries: 28-footer – US 380 - Boat for up to 8 people PLUS luggage PLUS groceries: 32-footer – US 450 - Boat for up to 14 people PLUS luggage PLUS groceries: 42-footer – US 600 On private boats you leave at your preferred time between 9AM and 4PM. Boats must leave the islands to get back to Cartagena by 4PM. If you want to rent a boat during your entire stay and have the boat spend the night at the island you would have to add US (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) per night. On private boats you can take groceries with you and the ice you will need at the island. If you wish to rent a boat, you will have to pay ahead of time at least 50% of the cost. You can get your private boat through us or through other companies. If you, do it with another company you can give us the information so we can organize grocery drop-off in case you hire that service with us (to buy food for you) and drop it at the dock where your boat will leave from. Public Transportation Muelle de La Bodeguita is the public dock where boats leave every morning to the islands, and they charge per passenger between US 15 and US 25 per person. They will allow you to take a small bag. If you decide on public transportation, we will have to coordinate the food either by buying food at the islands (limited offer) or hiring food purchasing service + transportation with us. Once you have chosen, we will do a grocery list and send it to you for your approval. Once it is approved, we will go to the stores and buy the food for you on the morning of your departure. We will then send you a relation of all the purchases made and copies of the receipts. Fresh fish and lobster are bought directly at the island, you can pay directly there or if you need us to pay it, we can arrange for that and include it in your total bill (we need to know in advance). If we spent more than the US 500 paid in advance you would pay us the difference, if we spent less than the US 500, we would return the difference. Once the food is bought, we will drop it off at the dock from where your boat is leaving. Let the people who will rent you the boat that you need space to take your groceries. You must also mention to the people who you rented the boat from to stock up on ice bags so you can take it to the island. We have coolers there at the island to store it. If you need help with the ice, you should also tell us in advance. If you need us to take the food directly to the island you must add an extra US 200 so we can pay a small boat to take the food, there. Our island is 50 minutes away by boat from Cartagena, so we must organize things well. Our property is located in the island of Isleta, which is part of the Rosario Islands. We have neighbors next to our property, so you might see them walking across our place sometimes to get to another property, but they are all very friendly and have lived here all their lives. This is a happy and safe community. You might also see a dog pass by from one of our neighbors (they are friendly dogs), if this bothers you please let us know. You can rent our boat to get to our place or we can tell you where to get public transportation. We will gladly help with all the logistics. Ado, our caretaker has a small boat he can use to take you around, fishing or snorkeling (you can pay him for these services). - Our fresh water has to be taken by boat to our place, so we ask to place save as much as possible. - Our electricity generator is on from 6pm to 8am, if you want to have it longer, you can pay an extra amount for that, 30usd per day to have it 24/7 on. Please keep in mind that there is some noise because of the generator. - We have someone who will cook and clean your room for you included in the rental cost (NO extra cost for this). - We will provide towels, linens, soap and shampoo. - There are two kayaks and snorkeling masks. - We can help you do your grocery shopping, there will be $50USD fee for this service but you pay for your food. We buy it and you reimburse us. -We will take your shopping to the place you aare boarding your boat. If you are leaving on a public boat, they might charge you extra to take these groceries. We recommend the private boat so you can take your groceries and luggage with you comfortably. - We have a private boat so we can provide transfers, please ask us if you are interested.
