Artists' Home and Studio in Pozos

This spacious, beautiful home includes 2 buildings, a 2 -bedroom, 2.5-bath residence, plus a separate artist's studio w/ another bedroom and bath, around a central garden with enclosed parking. The home is one block from the town's central plaza. The residence is a one and a half story structure of about 2,200 square feet, with a great room on the first floor (living room, dining room, and kitchen) that opens onto a spacious terrace via 4 sets of double doors. There is also a small library, a full bedroom with a queen bed and its own bath, plus another half bath on the first floor. The master bedroom and bath are on the second floor, opening onto a huge rooftop terrace that overlooks the town. The studio building is also about 2,200 square feet, with a painting studio, an office, and a bedroom area. Guests have access to all areas of the property, except the basement area of the studio, which the owner reserves for storage. The owner is not normally in Pozos to interact with the guests, but there is a property manager and there is a doorman/gardener/nightwatchman who lives on the property in a separate house. The property is conveniently located one block from the central plaza of the town. In addition, a small hotel with a bar, restaurant, and wireless internet service is located immediately next door to the property. Local buses and taxi's are available one block from the property. Secure parking for up to two vehicles is available inside the gated walls of the property. Mineral de Pozos is a charming town, which the Mexican government has recently declared a "Pueblo Magico," based on its rich history and its picturesque architecture and street life. The town is surrounded by the beautiful ruins of many 18th and 19th century mining structures.
