Located on a quite foothill and a five-minute walk from Southwest Bay’s soft sands, this charming two-story house offers an exclusive ocean view from its spacious terrace and balcony, best location in Southwest Bay indeed!!. Its backyard, a tall rock labyrinth overgrown by a lush forest, leads to a volcanic plateau that provides a unique vantage point over Old Providence’s widest beach. At night, this house lives up to its name as the balcony lifts you closer to an astonishing canopy of stars. We love the feeling of a small community. Everyone in South-West Bay knows each other and is very friendly. You will find mainly native people from the island who will be happy to help you and assist you whenever you have any questions or interests. ⚠️ATTENTION CATAMARAN 🛥TRAVELERS ⚠️ CATAMARAN FROM SAN ANDRÉS ISLAND TO PROVIDENCIA DOES NOT WORK ON TUESDAYS AND SATURDAYS UNLESS THEY ADVICE THIS ON THEIR WEBSITE. DO NOT PURCHASE CATAMARAN TICKETS THOSE DAYS FROM ANYONE. SOME GUESTS HAVE TO STAY EXTRA NIGHT IN SAN ANDRÉS ALTHOUGH THEY HAD PURCHASED TICKETS FOR TUESDAYS OR SATURDAYS Before getting to Providencia you must land in San Andres (the largest island in the archipelago). Getting to Providencia requires either of two available transportation options: 1) A light aircraft (a small propeller plane that fits 17 passengers): There are currently only 3 flights per day to Providencia. Make sure to book your flights on time! 2) Catamaran boat leaves San Andres early in the morning (8 AM) every day of the week, except Tuesdays and Saturdays. During high season you may find it difficult to book spontaneously, so be safe and book ahead online. The route San Andres - Providencia can be shaky, so you should avoid it if you suffer from giddiness or vertigo. Please inform us with time if you would want to be picked up at the airport or harbour. Help us making your stay in Providencia an amazing experience! If you would like to go out to eat, luckily there is no DELI's, McDonald's or Starbucks around; however, there are the best restaurants with delicious traditional food located right on our side of the island. Restaurants like "Divino Niño" or "Arturo" open their doors right at the beach for you to enjoy a delicious meal next to the water. - Although we have someone taking care of the cleaningness for when our guests arrive, it is impossible to get the house steril clean, due to the openness, wind and nature that surrounds it. For this reason this house could not be a perfect place for a hosophibic!
