Our custom built cabin, the "Osprey" is situated next to secluded Ivey Lake with quick access to Pemberton's stunning backcountry. After an epic day of discovery, come back and recharge lakeside amid breath taking views of Mount Currie. With a fully equipped open concept kitchen/living room, washroom, wood stove, private covered deck & BBQ. Only 15 min to Pemberton & 35 min to Whistler. Enjoy a glass of wine by the fire, or relax with your morning coffee on the patio, its your perfect get away! The ‘Osprey’ cabin is where you will be staying, part of our lakefront five acre property. The Osprey cabin shares the property with the main log house & two other log cabins, the Bunkhouse and Hummingbird cabins. It is the most private of the three cabins being situated furthest away from the main log house. It has a open floor plan, living room/kitchen and is often the preferred layout among most guests. It is situated closest to the lake within the treed property. It is a fully equipped cabin to make your stay comfortable. Private bathroom with shower and hot water. With full kitchen amenities; fridge, stove, kettle, toaster, microwave, coffee maker, and BBQ located on the patio, cooking will be made easy. One bedroom with a queen bed is located off the open concept kitchen/living space. The cabin rate is based on double occupancy (2 people). There is a pull out sofa should you require separate sleeping arrangements. ***PRICES VARY THROUGHOUT THE SEASON SO CHECK THE PRICE FOR YOUR RESERVATION DATES*** Guests can enjoy shared access to the Lake from our dock. Ivey Lake is managed as a Trophy Trout lake, catch and release only. You may also enjoy swimming, canoeing or take in the spectacular views of Mount Currie. We have two complimentary paddle boards (SUP) canoes on the property for your enjoyment and stunning views of Mount Currie. All activities on the property at your own risk. Our Caretakers live on property in the main house and can be available to share local knowledge on the area and recommend activities & restaurants, or address any cares or concerns. Please feel free to ask questions, otherwise you will be left to relax & soak in the peace & tranquility. We are 15 minutes from Pemberton, nestled a few miles up Reid Road amongst the cedar trees on Ivey Lake. Pemberton boasts 2 great golf courses, you will be 25 minutes from Joffre Lakes Provincial Park & only 35 minutes from Whistler. Salmon & trout fishing in the Birkenhead River is less than 5 mins away, 25 mins to Anderson & other adjacent lakes. You will need a vehicle here as public transport does not extend this far. As we are in the wilderness you will need to note a few things: 1. There are bugs, small furry creatures, bears, deer etc. so bring some bug spray & remember not to leave any food or drink outside. 2. Cell phone reception isn't great, sometimes not at all depending where you are on the property. 3. Wifi connectivity is excellent with optic internet. Set your smartphone to Wifi calling to make cell phone calls. 4. Due to the forest environment smoking is not permitted anywhere the property.
