The home has an open floor plan and is great for families who enjoy having a little extra space for comfort. The home is located in a gated community in southern Managua with 24/7 security. The kids can play freely and safely. Our home is in a suburban community off the Carretera Masaya corridor in southern Managua. Our home has a driveway and plenty of street parking (unusual of Managua). Open floor plan gives comfort and great for hosting family and friends. Home has a/c in 2 rooms, fans, fridge, kitchen, coffee maker, iron, among a few other basic household items... Guests will have access to ALL of the home and the outside patios EXCEPT for the maids room aka studio. The back studio is detached from the home and has SEPERATE entrance/exit so guests will nit be bothered. Reynaldo, the caretaker, spends 4-6 nights out of the week in the studio and goes home on his off days to his family as he has a full-time dayjob. I am in constant communication via landline and email. I prefer email, however, I call on check-in and check-out unless the guest is comfortable communicating more often that is fine with me. This gated community is 15 minutes away from downtown Managua and 5 minutes away from Plaza Veracruz. The community has about 35 homes but outside the community there are plenty of convenient stores, restaurants and mall right along the Carretera Masaya strip. 15 minutes away is Galerias Santo Domingo, Managua's premiere mall. There is plenty of public and private transportation along the road to Masaya and Managua. We are about 20 minutes from Masaya south and another 10 minutes to Granada. We are 5 minutes east of Ticuantepe and 15 minutes south of downtown.
