Many other sandy beaches along the Lighhouse Route and within 10 km. There is a rail trail for biking and hiking which connects you to Queensland Beach and Hubbards Village. Relax in the afternoon sun on the back deck overlooking the lake and with a view of the ocean. Sit on the lawn in adirondack chairs and enjoy the view of the lake and trees and listen to the birds and ocean waves from Snairs Beach. Enjoy a campfire in the evening and listen to the waves at the beach and the frogs in the lake. We are 30 minutes from the fabulous city of Halifax where you can enjoy historic landmarks, restaurants, shopping, museums, parks, and the lively Halifax waterfront and boardwalk. We are on the Lighthouse Route and within an hours drive of Peggy's Cove, Chester, Mahone Bay, and Lunenburg which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
