Come home after a tanning day and enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace while looking at St. Martin and St. Barts" "Tiny-house"-concept and Caribbean outdoor living is the basic philosophy. Built out of a shipping container placed on a gorgeous hillside spot in the middle of a nice garden, with breathtaking fews of the neighboring islands of St.Martin and St. Barthelemy you are catching a nice see-breeze the whole year around. Well thought window and door-openings with moscito-screens allow you an ocean view from all the parts and make a nice and cool atmosphere in the house. There is a shower-house (bathroom) a few steps away from the cottage leading through the garden over a small path, where you get full privacy. There is also an outdoor shower on the eastern side of the cottage, both with cold and hot water. The very functional kitchen has a granite counter top and is fully equipped. There is a table for two in the kitchen and a next one on the terrace from where you get wonderful fews, a lovely breeze and good shade because of the porch-roof. The bed can be a double-bed (queen-size) or two single beds. You can also make two comfortable sofas out of them, to have living-room atmosphere during daytime. There is plenty of storage for suitcases, clothes and other private items. You will find a little board specially for laptop and a fast internet connection is keeping you connected to the world ... And if you want to forget all this, relax in the hammock outside, in the shade of the cedar-tree and listen to the silence, the sea and the birds ... untill night comes with a heaven full of stars ... The "Tiny-house"-cottage is located in a big garden close to the main house. We are living in South Hill, in a nice residential area with good local neighborhood. Since a couple of month we are having a newly restored road leading to our property, which we think is an absolute upgrade There is no problem to park a car close to the cottage. There are no buses running in Anguilla, to rent a car is recommended.
