Centrally-located on the Pacific coast and only 1 ½ hours from the airport, you can find a little piece of paradise. A quiet getaway for small families or couples, who after a day at the beach or sightseeing are looking for relaxed comfort when they return. Esterillos Oeste is a laid-back Costa Rican beach town with authentic Tico flavor and a picturesque palm-lined beach. Equipped with a well-stocked mini market and open-air dining options, you will find everything you need once you arrive. Located in a secure neighborhood, the property is a two-bedroom, two-bath Spanish Colonial-style home which comfortably sleeps 6 people. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need for home-cooked meals. Each bedroom is furnished with ceiling fans and air conditioning for your sleeping comfort. Hang out together with refreshments or cozy up by yourself with a good book on one of the four balconies. Each room has a shaded veranda in front and balconies in back to enjoy the tropical jungle and mountain views. It’s common to see parrots, iguanas, sloths and monkeys on the property. The blue flag designated beach is a short 10-minute walk away (approximately one-half mile). Perfect location for day trips along the coast. If you are into exploring more of what the country has to offer, the area boasts lush mountains, amazing waterfalls, scarlet macaws and national parks. There are several tours offering ziplining, waterfall rappelling, ATV excursions, nature hikes plus shopping, dining and nightlife all within a 30 minute radius.  A rental car is recommended for ease of getting around and exploring. However, there are tour operators who offer pick up in Esterillos Oeste. Shuttles, taxi service and public buses are also available. For driving directions, we highly recommend using the application Waze. Costa Rican roads aren’t always marked and street signs are few.
