VacationHouse is a 1932 Colonial with all the charm of its period yet, fully renovated to accommodate all the modern conveniences. Oversized 18x15' room with my handmade touches. Vintage Sari's for Curtains, Designer or Handmade linens, Private 1/2 bath w/vanity en suite. Full shared bathe with steamy shower in hall. VacationHouse is centrally located between The City of Kingston & Woodstock, NY exits 19 and New Paltz exit 18, directly across from the Headless Horseman in the beautiful Hudson Valley. (Headless Horseman is the beautifully designed #1 Haunted House in America) Door code will be given at check-in so you can have free access to home. Contact me for any special needs. We have 4 unique rooms (this one has 1/2 bathe en suite) , 3 with 1/2 baths en suite and all shared full bath with Large shower in hall. Secret Garden Patio Behind home and large Porch on side will have tables and several seating areas. Large Parking lot available for your convenience. Innkeeper is on site and available as much or as little needed. In general, she is steps away in Kitchen or in her studio creating new things for her business or the evolving VacationHouse. She generally does not use rest of house. She is invisible, allowing you privacy yet, only a call away if you need anything or want to chat. VacationHouse is in a very safe mixed neighborhood. From a old farmhouse & barns next door to the #1 Haunted House in America across the street. El Paso Winery is down the block for an afternoon wine tasting. There are many Parks, hiking trails wineries and festivals for fun all summer long. The city of Kingston Stockade District, Rondout Waterfront and the events in Woodstock are just to the North and New Paltz is just to our south. I simply go up to the park up block and walk along the Hudson. Like anywhere out of the city, you will probably need a car. We are centrally located, 15 minutes from Kingston and 15 minutes fro New Paltz.
