This house is located 5 mins drive from the Caribbean Sea Coast. It is spacious and airy provided by large windows, providing lots of light, coming in from the tropical sun. Available to Guests is one air-conditioned en-suite bedroom, open plan kitchen with dining area, large veranda running along the front of the house toward the sides overlooking distant panoramic views. It is Located in a small residential area, 3 mins drive from the village of Laborie, St. Lucia, at the South of the Island. The house is cooled down with powerful ceiling fans in the living and dining area and one (1) air conditioned en-suite bedroom. And also don't forget the natural island breeze, circulating inside from large windows, bringing the beautiful outside in for extra ventilation. There's a spacious veranda along the front of the house toward the sides, a perfect spot for a cool after noon nap taking in the fresh breeze of the caribbean. There are plenty of opportunities for both relaxation and outdoor activities because of it's location of short driving distances from beautiful beaches, which has everything you can wish for in a tropical setting. CARIBREEZE HOUSE RULES POLICY ********************************* ■NON VISITOR AND COVID-19 PROTOCOL POLICY> No visitors allowed at this property. Caribreeze advise Guests to please find a listing that allows visitors, before booking this one. Caribreeze will keep close communication with the local authorities during the booking period and report any breach of covid-19 protocols. ■ FURNITURE> •(A) Please do not bring any house furniture outside. •(B) Do not put suitcases or any heavy personal belongings on top of any house furniture. •(C) Store duvet or any house item inside the closet or cupboards if they're not needed. ■ AMENITIES > We only provide the basic ammenities posted Online. Guests will provide any other ammenity/ammenities needed. ■ ENERGY SAVING> •(A)Turn off all lights in rooms and veranda that is vacant for long periods of time, no matter if Guests is home or not. •(B)Turn off all lights that are not needed before going to bed. •(C)Close both doors and all windows in bedroom when AC unit Turns On. ■ OUTDOOR SHOWER> Use outdoor shower located in the front yard next to the palm trees to rinse and get rid of excess sand. SAFETY NOTE: Tiles in the veranda and indoors are SLIPPERY WHEN WET. ■ SMOKING> •(A)Absolutely no smoking inside the house. Smoking is only allowed in the veranda outside. •(B)Extinguish cigarette butts in ashtray provided in the veranda. ■ SECURITY> •(A)For Guests safety and he safety of the house close and lock doors and windows) before leaving the house or going to bed, and please do not slam them. •(B)Inform host in the event the house will be left vacant for more than a day. Due to Covid-19 protocols Guests are not allowed to venture around the outside perimeter of the property. Access to Guests outside is limited to the front yard only. ■ REMODELING> (A) Do not unplug electrical appliances from their original locations. (B) Do not place any electrical appliances near open windows. ■ PEST CONTROL> •(A) Do not leave left over food or garbage for more than three days inside. •(B) No eating of cooked food in bedroom. •(C)Dispose of left over food and garbage immediately and before checking out. •(D)Do not flush foreign objects down the drains, toilets or showers. ■ DAMAGED ITEMS> Guests have a second option to pay in cash for replacing broken item/items of same make and model. Or replace the entire set with another make or model. ■ CHECKING OUT> Check out is at 12pm. This Listings is not a shared space. You will have full access to the entire house, one onsite bedroom included as decribed above. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the basics you'll need according to the number of guests booked, during your stay, including Wifi. COVID-19 PROTOCOLS: Currently, the covid-19 protocols prohibits Guest to have visitors, even if you and your visitor is fully vaccinated. I (Host) will not risk loosing my Covid-19 Certification if Guests decide to break protocols and, I (Host) will not hesitate to contact the local authorities to enforce the local Covid-19 protocols. Guests always have the choice to visit friends and families at their homes. NOTE: We use (220 volts) on the island. Portable electronics devices are usually equipped with dual voltage capabilities. Close all windows before leaving the house and before going to bed There's plenty of space for parking at the front yard, if you decide to rent a vehicle, which we always recommend to guests no matter where they leave on the island. Preferably an SUV. LOCATION AND DIRECTIONS: The home is located in Laborie,Saint Lucia. After exiting the UVF Airport entrance, make a right and follow the road along the airport tarmac fence. Soon after, you will follow a four lane concrete road. At the end of that road there's a round about after a speed bump. Keep left then make a right around the round about. This will put you on on New Dock Road, Look for a Rebublic Bank building on the left. Soon after you will come across a stop light. After passsing the stop lights, follow that road ahead all the way passing two bridges, along the airport tarmac. Look for a shopping plaza on the right, and a bar on the left. Just incase u want to shop for groceries before u head to the house. Follow that same road passing another bridge until u get to a speed bump. There is a sign reading Laborie to the left of the speed bump indicating you're close. Make a right, soon after passing that speed bump. That road will lead to the house. Be aware this road is very narrow. Please honk your horn if required. Soon after you will come across a sign reading "Sunny Palm Villa" near a sharp uphill corner. Continue straight with that sign to your right, until you see a house with a red roof and brown/white painted wall fence, make a right infront that brownish/white fence. You should be able to see the house directly infront of you on the right after making that last right. Hope that helps. GETTING AROUND I recommend this house for adventurous, outdoor, do it yourself travellers. Again I also recommend travellers to rent a vehicle, preferably and SUV. We all agreed that a vehicle rental is a must no matter where you decided to stay on Island, if you want to get around the island. Taxis can be very expensive. Taxi prices are always negotiable. So feel free to try your luck with taxi drivers. VEHICLE RENTAL PRICING: USD $55- $75 per day. Prices are based on size of vehicle and make. Driving permit Price: USD $22 REMEMBER: We drive on the left side! Beach chairs and snorkel gear available free of charge. Guests must first pay a refundable security deposit to be able to use beach chairs and snorkeling gear. GOING PLACES In spite of its natural surroundings, this modern and comfortable house is situated only 15 minutes drive from the Hewanorra International Airport, (UVF) which is in Vieux Fort (The closest town). This is where you will conveniently land if you're coming from anywhere in the world. If you're coming in from another Caribbean Island, you'll most likely be landing at George F Charles airport in Castries (the city) which is one hour away. ACTIVITIES If you want to relax there are lots of beaches within 5-15 minutes driving. Or you could choose from kite surfing and other water sports, including Jet Ski rental. ATV tour safaris, horseback riding (20 min away). If you want a view of the entire south coastline you can get that for free from Moule-a-Chique 20 mins away, or Morne le Blanche 10 mins away. Both offers breathtaking views of the entire south of the island. Please note that I can't post links here, but you can search St. Lucia on the internet to get familiar with what the island has to offer. BEACH Anse-de Sable is the largest beach on the island. It's only 10 minutes drive from the house, right across the Hewanorra Airport (UVF) located in Vieux Fort. Available there are kite surfing and other water sports activities. Beach bars/ restaurants, or just relax on the sandy beach). If you want a closer beach to the house, you're less than 5 minutes drive, about 30 to 40 minute walk away from the Rudy John Beach Park A.K.A Laborie Beach, located in Laborie Village. RESTAURANTS Luches' restaurant and bar is located right across the main supermarket, (5 mins away), from the house. Where you can also find a few restaurants and bars, serving , Local, and international influence cuisine. Here's a list of some more restaurants and bars located between 1 to 10 minutes from the house Empire 758 - Laborie Highway The Reef - Anse De Sable Beach Wilson's Place-2 mins walk away Mama Tilly's- Laborie Village SHOPPING There are two Massy Supermarkets within 5- 10 minutes drive from the home, located in Vieux-Fort. Massy Store Supermarkets carries many international favorite foods. BEVERAGES For alcoholic and non- alcoholic beverages. You're in luck. I recommend 'Uptown Liquor Store' located minutes away in Vieux-Fort, best prices for beverages on the island. Actually it's two minutes from the Airport, to the right off an exit on that four lane concrete road mentioned in the directions to the house. All these stores are located off the main road heading to the house. Regards
