LOCATION: Villa Marina is located at Casa de Campo Resort, less than a mile from the beach and has an incredibly private backyard. The villa is centrally located and gives easy access to all of Casa de Campo’s unique amenities, including Minitas Beach, the resort hotel, the shops and restaurants of the marina, and the beautifully-styled village of Altos de Chavon. Casa de Campo Resort is a large, gated resort & residential community with 24-hour gated entrance and security. The villa overlooks the golf course and you can even see the ocean in the distance. Since it opened in La Romana almost 50 years ago as the first resort in the Dominican Republic, Casa de Campo Resort & Villas has been a favorite luxury destination for discerning travelers and celebrities the world over. Known as the best golf resort, the 3 Pete Dye golf courses include Teeth of the Dog, which is ranked as one of the top golf courses in the Caribbean. This incredible 7000-acre resort, located in La Romana on the southeast coast of the Dominican Republic, is a tropical playground that features a unique variety of amenities and a private beach club with swimming pool at Minitas Beach. Casa de Campo is also home to many gourmet dining options, fantastic bars, and Altos de Chavón – a one-of-a-kind 16th century replica Mediterranean village. Casa de Campo has its very own airport, located just five minutes from the resort. Punta Cana Airport is located approx. 45-minutes’ drive from the resort and Santo Domingo Airport is about 1 hour away. THE SPACE: Villa Marina is a 4-bedroom villa in 2 levels and with a private swimming pool & Jacuzzi (heated), cozy furnished terrace, huge backyard with a big lawn area. The villa has been completely renovated throughout and brought up to date with contemporary furniture, décor, artwork and luxurious finishing. The interior design is very stylish with modern designer-like and unique furniture. Light colors, high ceilings and lots of windows give this villa very plenty of natural light, which feels very pleasant. Villa Marina instantly invites you to relax and unwind and forget about the stress of everyday life. Here is the place for you to spend the best time together with your family & friends. The villa has air conditioning in all rooms but also offers you plenty of outdoor space if you prefer the feel of the warm, Caribbean air. You have options of sitting outside on the terrace or on the deck by the pool. The private garden provides plenty of green space to enjoy and if you are traveling with children, this is a great place for them to play. There are 2 soccer nets (goals) in the garden so get ready for lots of fun games! Spend your days swimming and playing in the pool or in the garden. Enjoy your meals on the terrace overlooking lawn and stroll down to the beach whenever you feel like it. Enjoy this private oasis, spend your days in and around the pool and soak up the sun on a sun bed by the pool or fall asleep on the swinging hammock bed. This is your dream vacation… The outdoor terrace is the perfect place to relax during the day, eat, drink, listen to music. DOWNSTAIRS: On the ground floor of Villa Marina, you’ll find the beautiful living area with double height ceilings and a comfortable sitting area with a large L-shaped sofa. This space flows easily towards the dining room with adjoining TV-room. The TV room has a nice sofa with chaise and a comfortable chair. This room is airconditioned and can be closed off completely for maximum privacy. The formal indoor dining area looks out on the swimming pool and the windows can slide open to let the breeze in. This is the perfect place to host elegant dinners. Or, if you prefer to dine more casually, you can choose to have your meals outside on the covered terrace. A spacious kitchen comes fully equipped with everything you need to cook delicious meals during your vacation. If you want to hire a professional chef to cook and prepare your daily meals in the villa (groceries are not included), so you have less to worry about during your vacation, you also have that possibility ($). UPSTAIRS: The remaining 4 bedrooms are located upstairs. Two bedrooms have a king bed and two bedrooms have 2 queen beds in each room. All bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom with shower, custom-made built-in closets, marble floors, TV and air conditioning. One of the bedrooms upstairs also has a small, private balcony with table and chairs – a great hideaway to relax with a cup of coffee and a good book. CASA DE CAMPO RESORT FEE: The villa rental does not include the mandatory Casa de Campo Resort fee, which must be paid on arrival at the resort: - Adults over 12 years old: US$ 25 per person per night - Kids from 4-12 years old: US$ 12 per person per night - Kids under 4 years old: FREE The Resort Fee gives you access to the facilities and amenities of Casa de Campo Resort, including 3 Pete Dye golf courses*, fitness center, tennis courts, restaurants & bars ($), use of towels and chaise lounges at the pool by the main hotel area & Minitas Beach, Altos de Chavon ($) and more. Food & beverages must be paid directly to the bar/restaurant and is never included in your villa rental ($). All sports activities and facilities have an additional fee and facilities may be closed on certain days for private events, maintenance, etc. ($) *Guests do not have access to La Romana Country Club (private, members only golf course). ($) = additional charges apply / not included in the villa rental. The maids will clean the villa, make the beds, wash towels and linens. You’ll also have a villa manager during your stay. This is your go-to person for anything you need during your stay, e.g. transfers, excursions, reservations for restaurants, spa treatments, reservations for golf, tickets to events and nightclubs, etc. if you have not booked these prior to your arrival. Our villa managers speak English and Spanish as a minimum and will be on property to greet you when you arrive to the villa and available throughout your entire stay. PRE-ARRIVAL CONCIERGE SERVICES: Once you book Villa Marina, our in-house concierge will be at your service to assist you in planning your stay from A to Z. You may choose these additional services at your convenience. All services are subject to availability and extra charges, i.e. they are not included in the villa rental price: - Private airport transfers from Santo Domingo, La Romana and/or Punta Cana Airports - Rental cars and other transportation - Golf cart rental (for convenient transportation inside the resort; not for use on the golf courses) - Spa treatments or in-villa massages - Golf tee time reservations with shared transportation - Excursions (catamaran, deep sea fishing, ATVs, zip lines, etc.) - Grocery shopping (cost price of groceries + 15% service charge) - All-inclusive meal plan for food & beverages consumed in the villa - House bar (cost price of bottles + 15% service charge) !!!!!
