Blue Gem on the Lake

The condo is on the lower floor of our weekend house (see Blue Gem on the Lake). It can be rented separately or along with the full house for a longer stay. The beautiful terrasse is fully equipped with a bbq, patio table, and lounge chairs. Champlain islands are great for bicycling, fishing, golfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing, to name a few. Kayaks, paddle boards, and bicycles are available. The Lake Champlain Region offers a range of activities for outdoor enthusiasts, from scenic drives along the lake to hiking or biking one of the family friendly trails. Fall is also peak harvest time in the region, so expect an abundance of farm fresh treats. You can’t have fall without apples and cider donuts, so make plans to visit the West Swanton Orchard. Dunes state park in Alburgh has a fantastic public sandy beach. Try the biking trails that crosses the lake from south hero to Burlington. Missisquoi reserve is a nice and quiet walk. We love Burlington, Jay Peak and Stowe, but be prepared to drive 55 minutes.
