We are situated on the hills overlooking the Caribbean Sea above La Pointe, Choiseul, a community at the base of the Gros Piton (UNESCO World Heritage Site), where people of Carib ancestry continue their traditions of molding clay into pots, twining vines into baskets, and other local crafts, cuisine and cultural activities. From the property, walk down to the beach or hike the majestic Gros Piton. Many of the most popular St. Lucian attractions are nearby. The Vieux-Fort/Hewanorra international airport is a 45-minute drive. Restaurants: Ti Coco (on site), casual fare restaurants within walking distance, fine dining restaurants just a short 15-25 minute drive. Groceries: A couple of convenience stores are within a 10-minute walk, while the larger village of Choiseul is a 15-minute drive and the town of Soufriere is a 25-minute drive. Super-J supermarkets in Vieux-Fort and Soufriere have a larger selection. Local creole bread freshly baked in wood oven is available nearby on weekends. At the Saturday morning markets in Soufriere, Vieux Fort and Choiseul, you can find fresh locally grown fruits and vegetables. Linens, bath towels, pool towels included.
